Did Congress prohibit freedom? People who say a person cannot express religion of any sort in government or public is ignorant of first amendment! By the way secular humanism/atheism are religious as well. Atheist believe there is no God. secular humanist believe there is no God, just evolution. Both are faith based.

You are just completely ignorant of the U.S. Constitution and its amendments. It doesn't just apply to Congress, but any government agency.
And no, atheism and humanism aren't religions. If they are, I want tax-exempt status retroactive to when I became an atheist. And you are stupid to equate evolution with humanism.
Atheism is a religion as much as bald is a hair color, or not collecting stamps is a hobby.
You can express your religion as a member of government. Using your position in government to get other people to worship your god and follow your religion, that's a no-no.
You can express your religion in public. No one ever said you couldn't. You CANNOT, however, FORCE your religion on other people, or expect the state to offer you favoritism.
Athiesm is assumed on faith, because it is a claim about the unknowable.
However, it is certainly not a religion.

Atheism is not a claim about the unknowable, or anything. It's simply nonbelief in any gods. Some atheists may make the assertion that there are no gods, but not all of them do. I'm an atheist who doesn't believe in any gods and really don't think any exist, but am willing to change my mind if proof of such a thing can be shown.

Actually, Canadeist, a religion does not require a deity. (Buddhism is a non-theist religion, for example.)

They are legally recongized religions, and the U.S. Military even has a special logo that atheists can put on their tombstones in the cataglogue of religious symbols, including crosses, Jewish stars, Islamic symbols, etc.
