'Global flood' - that's right, the one that the Egyptians apparently did not notice - I suppose that was because they were busy building the Great Pyramid at the time and all their workers could hold their breath for a year and work under a depth of 29,000 feet of water or whatever it was supposed to be - height of the highest mountain plus 15 cubits.
Prove that the 'tribes of Israel' were ever held captive in Egypt. Even if they were, when they escaped, why did it take them 40 years to get to 'the promised land'? - it should only have taken 15 days or so even at a slow walk.

i just have a thing to say...
I wish I was ignorant of the bible, instead I wasted years on it. The only thing it ever taught me was that there are so many bibles, and so many interpretations of each bible, that the possibility of finding out anything meaningful about God from one is zilch.
Everyone wants you to believe what they believe, and no-one wants to hear what you believe, and everyone says God and the bible say you and they should behave in whatever way they wanted to behave in the first place.
No God that could allow this is even worth believing in. But it soon became pretty clear that the whole s***-pot is the way it is because there is no God.
Theology, it ain't worth missing a dump for!

That is the most ignorant statement I have read. Nothing that was claimed to have happened has been proven, other than the falsehood being repeated in another part of the bible. Nothing can be traced back.
