Mythology is often referred to as imaginary gods or imaginary animals that walked the earth and is generally thought of as beliefs that people had in the past because humans are under the erroneous asumption that we're smarter today than people in the past. But they overlook the fact that people in the past also thought the same thing about their intelligence and people in the future will always prove current thinking wrong again. So the biggest myth of all is that there are no myths in current society. Here are just a few of them:

Until recently, Carico was just saying things that were stupid. But the past few comments of hers that have been posted here go beyond stupid and have achieved a whole new level of brain-numbing ignorance. not myths. Following the actual "logic" in this, there is no god and these things are true.
Somebody help me! Am I reading this right or is this physco-babble starting to rot my brain?

Question, Carico: Do you think that nobody can (or should) be convicted of a crime, even with a wealth of physical evidence demonstrating guilt and none contradicting it, just because there was no eyewitness to the act?
There are not witness for that, BUT THERE ARE FOSSILES, and geological proofs, more solid than a book written by ignorant nomads who didn´t have a hudrenth of the current tecnology, and not even half the one at the time telling about facts which, by the way, WERE NOT WITNESSED BY ANYONE THEN EITHER.
Hairband, you seem to assume that said breeding would be for the sake of preserving the species. Don't forget that alimentary or test-subjects providing purposes are also a possibility. :PSo the biggest myth of all is that there are no myths in current society.
Nobody said that, you idiot. We are all too aware that even in scientifically advanced countries there are still people believing such myths as old Jealous upstairs, the Rupture, UFOs or Xenu, not to mention urban legends.
Nobody alive actually witnessed Vesuvius burying Pompeii, so I guess that didn't happen either.

I have read posts where the idea of hers that monkeys breed humans etc. is wrong. She maintains that is what evolution is about no matter how many times it is explained. She doesn't WANT to give it up because she loves to bitch about it, although she is the only one with the ridiculous 'theory'. She is a bottomless, stinking pit of mind-sucking, patience depleting, ulcer-giving stupidity of monolithic proportions. She is the antonym of learning, she is an army of one against the tyranny of reality. She is a faith marinated, fairytale spouting, hermit of non-reason. Even to speak her name is enough to drive your I.Q. down a whole point. My brain is a mass of physical and mental scars from my attempts to introduce logic and remove the baseless ideas of insane 'reasoning' from her beartrap like mind.

You are indeed correct, none of these have been witnessed by anyone (there propably were tribal humans during the last ice age, but they didn't record anything).
You see in science we don't make up the conclusion and then work backwards and fit "evidence" to support our claims. We actually look at the evidence being accumulated and see where they point.

I may have witnessed a pink unicorn, it said things would be ok, I was pretty tanked on painkillers at the time.
