The only thing I see, is that nothing much is happening in the US, one way or the other. The wars are still on in the Middle East, you still have insurance companies deciding who's to have medical care, instead of doctors, you still have the death penalty (which almost no other western countries have), you still seem more engaged in discriminating gays than reducing famine.
Why would we want Bush back? He was little more than a puppet for the oil conglomerates and his daddy's buddies. And then you wanted to replace the sock-puppet with Caribou Barbie. Words fail to describe the stupidity of that move...

While Obama's gone down in popularity it's only a small drop. It's also entirely due to the Republicans blocking everything except war escalation and people wanting the democrats to take charge.(I believe he just went up in the polls again, it's time the truth of Republican plans is laid out to the public. Their huge mistakes and their determination to continue their path of economic destruction)

Nobody was trying to "forgive and forget." Some of us just thought it was more prudent to actually go after the right people in the right fucking country rather than throw darts at a map of the Middle East to figure out which sovereign nation to invade and bomb the hell out of next.

I admit that I am disappointed with Obama's performance in several areas. Even so, I am still glad that baby Bush is out of office. Furthermore, I have no regrets over voting for Obama over McCain.

Since I've commented about 10 months ago it appears most Republicans have thrown the whole Bush administration under the campaign bus. Not that their new proposed lineup is any better, Perry's a W clone, and they are all rewritting their own dismal carreers.
