Scared the living $#}] out of himself, and hasn't been able to reproduce the effect since despite many tries(pure W=P is so delicate to achieve). Thus the problem is maintaining STABILITY. At first I thought he was talking about the momentum state of a singular photon but then it struck me as perhaps atom optics then, I read timer's posts at freerepublic and his first post on that page and found that he's being more pundy than fundy. He wrote a 'could've been like this' scenario for the flood which I found amusing and the astroprojection post here follows those lines .. taking a piss out of the serious fundies. I do not understand quantum physics on a gut level. However, I do know enough about it to recognize that this is pure and utter bullshit.
Quantum effects cannot be applied to macro scale objects.
They can; the problem is that quantum effects scale inversely with size, so an object the size of a paper clip moving with even a small velocity has a de Broglie wavelength that is utterly miniscule. And there is a nonzero probability that quantum tunneling would permit me to walk through a wall; the problem is that the probability is so infinitesimal that I could spend billions of years trying and still have a better chance of winning the lottery a few dozen times in a row.
Basically, the rules of quantum mechanics don't change at the macro scale; they're just so unlikely to cause a change from classical mechanical behavior that you might as well pretend quantum effects don't exist.
