the presumption is science is the Truth.
That's false.
Once a person becomes aware of the fallacious nature of science -- the errors in the laws -- and sees that there is a serious problem with the structure and foundations of science, but continues to idolize science and promote this human endeavor as the 'Truth' while it clearly isn't, spiritually speaking there's a price to pay.
Rewrote the laws and unified the macroscopic (diffusion) with the atomic/subatomic (fine-structure constant) through a proper definition of mass -- the gateway to unification. Redefined objectivity as limiting one's analyses through the use of transcendental numbers and integers only. Uncovered the missing universal constant one half the square root of pi over e. Pi over e makes space time inseparable, and this constant relates to mass -- space-time-mass are connected.

No one will be convicted for being caught up in the great delusion. However, once the Truth is known, the spiritual penalty will be very severe for promolgating the present state of idolized science. Don't worry about being held legally responsible. Worry about being held spiritually accountable for idolatry.
Source? God of course.

Your ass is god now?

.... Gene Ray, is that you?
You're right, science is not the truth. Science is the pursuit of the truth.
Which is a better source of knowledge than your God.
More po-mo crap!
After reading enough of these "Science is BS, therefore God" screeds, I'm starting to get the impression that these folks have no idea how science works. For example, the opening nonsense, "the presumption is science is the Truth" which is then proclaimed false without any supporting evidence or thought, is a primary example.
Science is not the assumption of truth, but rather a neverending search for the truth. If, for example, someone came up with a defining and scientific proof that our current understanding of evolution was false, the discoverer would go home with a Nobel and the publishers would make a mint. No one would act as if the truth had been shattered; it's all in the search for the truth.
Oh, and there is no god so we don't have to worry what he thinks about these matters.
"the presumption is science is the Truth.
That's false.
Once a person becomes aware of the fallacious nature of science" tl;dr...

Y'know who was the UK's top cryptologist during WWII - at Bletchley Park - Gone (Insane)? Alan Turing.
A scientist . And if you think science is 'fallacious', you'd better get rid of that computer, because it was Turing's 'fallacious ' scientific developments which resulted in you having the ability to say that science is 'fallacious ' in the first place.
Baby Jebus hates Hypocrites, don'tcha know?

There is a price to pay for your rejection of science.
The internet you're posting on was created by science.
And yet science consistently produces results. You can argue against science religiously, philosophically, morally, whatever. But you can't argue against its results. Science works and is proven to work every single day. You can send an email of a prayer to India faster than you can get down on your knees and pray that same prayer at home. And antibiotics have a much better track record against disease than prayer. I'll stick with what works, thank you very much.
Never mind that science is self-correcting; how does that fit with your "presumption of the truth"? If it was based on a presumption of the truth, why would anything need to be corrected?
Presumption of the truth sounds way more like religion, as in "the buybull is correct, and no evidence will get me to believe otherwise".
Why is it fundies always accuse others of what they are doing themselves?
Gone, as in what the OP's mind appears to be.
single laymen on yahoo answers do not rewrite the fundamental laws of physics by their lonesome. trust me, that sort of work takes team effort carried out at major research institutions nowadays. the last time one single person managed anything like such a revolution, i'd guess it was Einstein, and he was no layman.

I think I might be having a psychotic episode, since this seems to be the only rational explanation for my mental state after I read this.
I do presume science is false and I know there are "errors in the laws". How do I know? Because I've got this keyboard thingy in front of me, and every time I type on it, the words and sentences stubbornly refuse to come out anywhere, because there's nowhere to put a piece of paper in my keyboard. Perhaps I was expecting too much?
One thing that does amaze me though, is that the very words and sentences that I thought were missing, that science had failed to reproduce on the paper that I couldn't put in my keyboard, mysteriously turn up on the FSTDT site. Proof positive that science is false and the supernatural is true.
P.S. I have taken some measurements with my droolometer and they seem to exactly match the results of my experiments made with the ignoramuscope. Proof that you need Yahoo Answers if you want to investigate the tough questions. Nuff said.
the presumption is science is the Truth.
That's a Straw Man.
FIFY!
A Source is a Source,
Of course, of course,
And we all can refute a Source, of course!
That is of course, unless the Source,
Is the famous Christian God!
The back of a horse,
Is also a Source,
And this is a thing that the farmers endorse.
The difference is, I see the horse,
But I can't see the Christian God!
Christians yakety-yak a streak,
About the Word of God,
But I have never heard God speak,
And this strikes me as somewhat odd.
A Source is a Source,
Of course, of course,
And we should take care when we quote a Source,
It might come from the back of a horse,
Or even Christian God! - JWB 9/16/13
No, the presumption is that science describes reality, and tries to find ways to solve problems for humanity. Where's the "serious problem with the structure and foundations of science"?
Who's stupid enough to idolizes science? Science is scrutinized, questioned, double-checked and peer reviewed, over and over. The point, stupid, is that a scientist HAS TO prove to other scientists (who all wish they had come up with the idea first) that his hypothesis is correct and repeatable.
Pi equals 3. Source "God of course".
If God is the least bit decent (and existing), he'd probably appreciate science for its work to understand this wonderful world and to find benefits for all of mankind. At least it's better than to continue polluting and destroying the wonderful world he (supposedly) created for us, even though we know how not to.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
