"Raise your hand to the lord my atheists and ask for forgiveness?"
Why is this a question?
I'm not your atheist.
I don't believe in your lord.
I don't believe i have done anything i need supernatural forgiveness for.
Praying to your lord would be taking his name in vain. A no-no, I'm told.
"Will you repent your sins and give up the evils in your life."
That's a question, not a statement.
I don't believe in any gods, so i don't believe in sin (defined as violating divine laws).
"Alcohol,"
I only use alcohol to prepare my insulin needles for daily shots, so fuck off.
"Cigarettes,"
Never smoked.
"Sex,"
Not convinced Sex is evil. Only ever had sex with a consenting adult.
"Drugs,"
My security clearance prevents me from enjoying licit or illicit drugs. Not sure just how evil they are, though.
"Violent TV programmes and video games."
If I'm going to Hell for enjoying John Wick III or playing Looney Toons World Of Mayhem, that sounds preferable to being in Heaven with someone who considers that 'evil.'
"When you are cast into the fiery flames in the devils company and you wish to pray for forgiveness then to be taken to the heavens it will be too late."
Yeah, and that's actually the deal-breaker, you know? All my life seeking some evidence that one of the many stories of gods and judgments and afterlives that humans tell me are The Troof!! And the first time i can dependably GET such evidence is after the cut-off BY DESIGN. So all this 'evil' will lead to torture. Not even punishment, because there's no end point in the model. No chance to prove I have learned my lesson and am ready to try again or move on. Makes zero sense as punishment. Perfect sense as revenge, though, if God is an asshole.
"Will you take my hand and join me with the Lord?"
No. Doesn't seem like a good idea.
