@Salami: I've long wondered why Sonic is basically one huge colossal magnet for crazies and weirdos...
Why not Mario or something? (...though if these wack-a-doos do come near Mario, I will fucking cut them. Through the Internet. I love basically every Mario game, and Mario fans are not bugfuck insane. We just have fun playing Mario Party, Mario Kart, and shit together. No MRA Mario, Social Justice Yoshi, Goombas Going Their Own Way, White Nationalist Wario, Anarcho-Capitalist Kamek, Princess Peach TERFstool WTFery. I'd like to keep it that way.)
I was just getting ready to write a comment about how Rudolf, being a stand-in for oppressed racial minorities, would naturally attract hate from the Alt-Right. A bit unrealistic, making the "generic non-conformity" a superpower, I admit, but nobody said the story had to be deep...
Then I see a picture of Tails in a Nazi uniform. Why do I even bother expecting logic from these guys?
NO! NOT SONIC! SONIC IS CUTE AND AWESOME! I REMEMBER MY SIS RENTING AND PLAYING IT IN THE EARLY 90's....WITH THAT THEME SONG THAT SOUNDED A BIT LIKE PRINCE'S "LET'S GO CRAZY"! DON'T RUIN IT'S REP ANY MORE THAN THE CRAPPY LATER GAMES, SOME FANS AND CHRIS-CHAN HAVE!
And I'm wondering about Sonic's tendency to have weirdos among the fans as well. WHY IS THAT?
Poor little Tails....made to wear that Nazi outfit!
DUHH THIS IS TOTALS REALZ AND SRS LOL.
Cringe accounts are fucking cancer.
Also that's the first time I've seen that Nazi Tails pic in a while. I have no clue why it exists or who drew it, but given how long it's been around it's likely just as jokey as the alt right sonic account.
My little buddy has brains.
You, on the other hand...
Five years later it is interesting to see this, when studying how young niche communities were targetted by divisive propagandists. This included game servers, image boards, etc.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
