I can just see women giving up birth control, and getting abortions just because it's free/cheap.

Do you have any idea how excruciatingly complicated, painful, traumatic, messy, and expensive Abortions are?
Abortions are free and cheap? Seriously! Let's see, birth control can cost you somewhere between $15 to $50 per month.
Now abortions, can cost you somewhere around $300 to $700. Hmmmmm.
You know it's just easier to call you a retard.
Yes. We're going to give up the more effective, less invasive method of PREVENTING PREGNANCY, for the more invasive, painful method of removing pregnancy.
Idiot.
Um, no, I'm pretty sure they'd rather prevent the pregnancies to begin with, rather than having to run out and have an invasive procedure performed. It's far easier to take a pill every day, I'm sure.
And I can just see you getting a fork in your eye while attempting to put food in your mouth.
... Oh wait! That didn't happen EITHER, did it? Silly me.
Olga - really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really stupid.
I might be understating the case...
Birth control is free too, dipshit.
I live in a country with free health care. Abortion rates are LOWER here (even accounting for the population difference) than in the US. Imagine that?
No, the birth control is preferred. Why bother solving the problem when you can prevent it?
By the way, condoms are REALLY cheap.
As usual, RaptureRetards are DEVOID of logic or common sense. Then again, they WANT birth control BANNED as well as abortions. Most women would rather use birth control and therefore prevent an abortion, but brain-dead fundy Christians believe it's their right (and even responsibility) to take THAT away from them, because to them, women are nothing more than baby machines. For fundies it's all about CONTROL.
You need to quit watching the 700 Club. Abortion is not as simple as popping a zit, it is a painful, invasive surgical procedure that requires a local anesthesia and a recovery period. You can pick up your prescription BC pills over your lunch hour, you need to take at least a few days off for an abortion.
So, then, you'd be fine with the government subsidizing birth control to help prevent that scenario, right?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
