The Al Jazeera link is broken, so I can't tell if this guy's commenting on something that's really happening or if he's jumping to conclusions and/or making shit up. Without that context, I really can't judge the merits of this quote.

Of course his interpretation is wrong. I said as much, even if my wording was unclear. I don't blame him for being upset over it, as the law in question is indeed intended to harass Muslims, but he should've read the article a bit closer and not jumped to the wrong conclusions. After all, it's not like they're force-feeding bacon to Muslim kids.
Link is broken, so I have no context. So I'll just say forget about this ancient superstition and eat whatever the hell you want. It's a pig. As long as the meat is cooked enough like any other meat, it's good to eat.
