So I was watching a video of a famous youtuber who was crying about being in an abusive emotional relationship with his girlfriend,

He talked about how she manipulated him, etc.

The whole time I was thinking - you are just a HUGE PUSSY.

I understand women who are in abusive relationships. They fear getting beat up.

But men? I have no sympathy. If a man is in an abusive relationship, it's his fault for not breaking up.

This is just like the pathetic men who bitch about being raped, if a man gets raped by a girl, he should thank her.

Women who rape men are COOL AS FUCK in my book and I seriously hope one day I get raped by a woman.

In the video, everybody was commenting about how bad they felt for the guy and how brave he was to discuss his situation publicly.

Men can't be victims, if they are victims, it is by their own choice,

Some rape apologists, on the other hand, claim that, because some women have rape fantasies, all women secretly enjoy rape.
In both cases, I am pretty sure that these individuals are small minorities, and that fantasising about being raped and actually being raped are two VERY different things (compare EG's post), just like people fantasise about being a war hero instead of Generic Soldier #17765 and imagine life as an aristocrat purely as that of decadence and power while ignoring responsibility, intrigue and the risk of revolt.

This quote is an excellent demonstration of the fact that sexism is unfair for BOTH genders - not to the same degree, of course, but unfair nonetheless.

I agree. Our society has progressed since the 19th Century. De jure, equality has been archieved. The remnants of patriarchy are often so subtle that it appears tempting to dismiss them as absurd myths. To me, Feminism is similar to "Darwinism"/"Evolutionism": Whether women should be equal to men is no longer in question. Rather, the question is about the fine balancing. And for that, we have to pay attention to both sides.
A problem I see is that abandoning the moniker of feminism might allow crazy misandrists to sully the cause of the feminists of old and of our sisters and brothers in arm in those parts of the world where patriarchy is still at large.
