Atheists: Name a successful Atheist society that isn't a Communist dictatorship and hasn't collapsed.?

There has never been a prosperous Atheist civilization. Even Pagans built great civilizations that lasted a long time. Atheists would be running through the woods naked if it weren't for religious people.

LIST OF ATHEIST NATIONS

Soviet Union: Oppressive Communist dictatorship. Collapsed in 1991.
North Korea: Oppressive dictatorship with a high death rate. Most citizens are poor as dirt and sometimes resort to cannibalism.
Cuba: Dying nation. Will fall apart eventually
Eastern bloc: Same with the USSR.
China: Led to Mao's great revolution that took millions of lives.
Cambodia: Khmer Rouge.
Sweden: Currently being invaded by Muslims. Will become Swedenstan in about twenty-five years. Many Swedes and Swedish Muslims violently hate Jews and Israel. It's not safe for Jews to live in some Swedish cities anymore. This is due to Socialist EU politicians who support Muslim terrorists and accept Muslims immigrants and hate Jews and Israel because they were bribed with oil.

As you can see,Atheism does not do any good for countries. Atheist nations are more likely to accept Muslim terrorists into their country. I challenge you Atheists to name an Atheist society that hasn't collapsed, isn't a Commie dictatorship or isn't being taken over by Muslims hordes.

Sweden isn't an atheist state. It has a state church and everything. Just as you fundies want it. Why it seems like an atheist state is because people don't really care about church there anymore. While there certainly isn't enough data for a conclusion, the fact that modern, first world countries with a state church tend to have less religious people is certainly interesting.

That's ironic considering that you believe that if Adam and Eve had listened to God they would still be naked in the fucking woods (and fucking naked in the woods, too, I suppose). Aside from that, I'm not sure what's supposed to be wrong with nudity. The woods might not be the best place to wear your birthday suit with all the bugs and twigs but I don't get how nudity is intrinsically bad.

Japan has a state religion, Shintoism I think. Though most of the population there worship a mixture of Shintoism and Buddhism (and some other stuff but I'm too lazy to search it right now)

Also, their economy has some issues for the past 2 decades (though most fundies are too dumb to see that kind of issues as actual problems).

Of course then there are those incels and other sad sacks/nutjobs who claim that Japan is doomed because their women are no long submissive and wanting marriage and their declining birthrate and all that hentai that comes from there (you know, despite the fact that Japan is still overcrowded despite decades of negative pop growth)

Heck, anything positive from atheist/communist countries (like how women has full equality (at least on paper) and state healthcare and education) would be seen by them as evil and bad. There's no reasoning with that, since both sides have very different concepts on what is "good" and "bad".

Higher rate of drug addiction than atheist blue states. Higher rate of divorce than atheist blue states. Higher rate of teenage pregnancy than atheist blue states. And that's not even considering places like Uganda and Saudi Arabia or Iran.

Hull: City of Culture in 2017. And that appellation is fought over almost as much as the bidding for the Olympics (and Yorkshire hosted the start of the Tour De France this year!).

Despite the Christian population and their ignorant loud mouths along with their attempts to impose their life denying morality on the entire country, the U.S. is also a secular nation.

We were the first secular nation and laid a template for much of Europe. France being the first to come to mind. Our country was not founded on christian principles. We were founded on enlightenment principles. The Founders wanted a country that broke free from the influence and power of the church and a country where the people understood that they must create the laws and system of government for themselves, not some obscure man in the sky that no one can agree on.

Christians hate this fact because they cannot stand the idea that they are unable to force their warped concept of morality on those around them. They hate it because their patriotism and their faith conflict. How can you have such a great country that wasn't founded on the laws of God?

We just do, so get over it and stop holding our country back from its potential.

Sweden is being invaded by Muslims? Why didn't anyone tell me?!?

OK, someone did; our two racist/Nazi parties and the Swedish Resistance Movement (at least as ultra-right-wing as the other two). But these parties consist of people that I wouldn't even trust if they said "it's Saturday today". According to some studies mentioned on Wikipedia, we have about 25 000 practicing Muslims (people who participate in the Friday Prayer and also pray five times a day) in Sweden (with a population of about 9 million people). Those 25 000 is definitely a threat!!! Or, ya know, not! Most people from Muslim countries flee to Sweden (and other Western countries) to GET AWAY FROM Muslim fundamentalism, stupid!

Many Swedes, and people of all kinds of nationalities, dislike the apartheid regime of Israel, and the way they treat Palestinians. Like the fundie dolts often phrase it; we hate the state, not the Jews. Even Swedes of Jewish descent dislike Apartheid Israel.

Most EU politicians are the European version of Religious Right, silly!

Plus, Sweden is not an Atheist nation, we're a secular nation. Just 14 years ago, we had a State Church. At present, the Right Wings are in government, and most of them are more or less Christian. Especially the Christian Democrat party...

Yet you conveniently ignore the following:

1. Israel's early leadership opposed the racial discrimination against Palestinians as early as the 1930s. Many Zionist bigwigs specifically named South Africa as the type of society they wished to eschew. Israel also participated in the censure of apartheid by the UN. Hell, the guy who compared apartheid to Israel was major apartheid proponent Verwoerd.

2. Palestinians actually enjoy several rights, such as freedom of religion, that are explicitly denied them by several other Middle Eastern Arab countries. Jewish minorities are treated even worse in other ME countries than Arabs. And the "law" only allowing Jewish immigration? A complete hoax.

3. Just as South Africa's apartheid policy didn't make its own existence untenable, even if Israel were apartheid as you say, that doesn't mean that a Jewish state has no right to exist.

These countries were atheist not as a main cause but a subsidiary one. First and foremost, they wanted the state control of the means of production, distribution, and exchange. Secondly, they wanted to silence alternative points of view. That is not to say atheists did not oppress people for being religious, but while communist regimes always oppress their opponents, those run by atheists - and there have been many in the democratic world that have passed control on peacefully to their opponents - do not.

We only ever qualify Israel as an apartheid state, even though other states fit the bill far more closely. We hold Israel to far higher moral standards that we hold ourselves to. We presume to lecture them, who have been threatened with annihilation for every day of their existence, because we know what suffering in war is all about, even though we've not seen a war in 200 years. We reproduce cartoons by artists who won awards at Holocaust-denying cartoon competitions and freely use Holocaust imagery when discussing Israel; imagery designed to be as offensive as possible uniquely towards Jews. Yes, just like the fundies. Particularly when they say they've nothing against gays.

Even Swedes of Jewish descent dislike Apartheid Israel.

We all know how safe it is for Jews in Sweden who might want to point out that Israel does not have pass laws, a Group Areas Act, nor does it ban non-Jews from the many elected offices that have been held by Arabs in Israel from president downwards. South Africa was never called an apartheid state for what it did in the areas outside its borders; nor any other state. This vicious refrain only applies to the only Jewish state in the world. No other state, no matter how bad its human rights violations, need worry. Not only does Israel have a far higher proportion of Muslims than Sweden, but its realtors are getting ever more interest from Swedish Jews.
