We can't blame God, you got that right, but it's because he doesn't exist. If he existed, we would be fully justified to blame him for being an intolerant psychopathic fucker who gets pissed of because things are as he made them...
How truly bizzare! Firstly, attributing unrelated events to an imaginary being, but to ice your little cake of stupid, you pretend to know the motives of the aforementioned imaginary being.
I'm really confused now. Just who causes these problems? God or Satan (or you devil of choice)? If God, why is Satan such a bad guy? If Satan, why doesn't god care enough to try and stop him?
So what's this person saying - that the 9/11 victims were all homosexuals? Or that God thinks it's OK to kill everyone because He's mad at liberals for not killing homosexuals? If God doesn't like homosexuals, why doesn't He just get rid of them ? Is His aim that bad that he has to wipe out big parts of Indonesia because He's mad at liberals for not doing His work for Him? This has to be the most ridiculous, self-concocted explanation of God's motives I've ever seen. It's a wonder God doesn't strike hithesh down for thinking God's as stupid and bigotted as hithesh would like Him to be.
So out of everything in the entire known universe, out of all the murder and atrocity, the hatred, bigotry, and selfishness, the genocide, matricide, and infanticide, the one thing that really pisses him off is the consentual act of two human adults.
So God expresses his displeasure with one group by ... wiping out a random segment of the population who may or not be the ones he's pissed off at, by a means that bears no obvious correlation with whatever's pissing him off?
I've forgotten the Bible passage pinning the Noachian flood on homosexuals. Genesis 6, the relevant chapter, seems only to discuss heterosexual pairings between the sons of God and the daughters of men, and then how "every inclination of the thoughts of his [man's] heart" was evil.

The Flood story is a fiction ripped-off from earlier myths. There is no evidence that Sodom was destroyed by your God. In fact, there is no evidence that you God, or any god, exists at all.

The funny thing about God using a tsunami or a hurricane to kill a bunch of people is that supposedly God promised Noah that he'd never flood the earth again. So by using the flood waters of a hurricane or a tsunami to kill all the homosexuals and liberals, God is showing himself to be a liar. Funny that the fundies forget about God's promise when they can blame a natural disaster on their current boogey men.

Noah didn't exist, the flood that God caused never happened, Sodom didn't exist, and there is no evidence that any disasters in the world today are caused by God. There are quite a number of disasters caused by peoples' belief in God, but none caused by God.
Keep in mind, there have been disasters throughout history. Back during the 1300s, there was a nasty plague and back then, everyone believed in God, and no one would tolerate gays. What was that a punishment for? People beat themselves up and crawled into church hoping to "repent," but it didn't do any good. What sins were they being punished for?
Perhaps God was punishing them for sins in China. According to you (and the Bible), God frequently punishes innocent third parties instead of the guilty.
Of course, Christians claim that everyone is horrible, so they can always say that the victims of God's wrath were sinners. Naturally, this takes the wind out of their insults against liberals, since they believe that they're just as bad as them, but fundies aren't that big on logic, are they?

God is actually so sick of hearing you fuckwits raging on other human beings that he is sending death from above. And instead of exclusively saving the righteous and punishing the evil he wants to confuse you so the game is more fun for him to play.
