Why does getting knocked up deserve $500 a month?

Actually, given the crap my wife has been through (and many women go through worse) just carrying a child, I think $500 a month is a pretty paltry sum. I think women should go on strike until us men start coughing up more cash.

Carry a child to term, give birth to it, and then take care of it properly, dealing with nighttime feedings, teething, colic perhaps, and the expenses of formula/food, diapers, and medical needs -- and all that is just the kinds of situations to be expected in the first couple of years. You couldn't get me to take on that kind of job alone for ANY amount of money.

Yeah, because it's not like that little brat needs to...I don't know, eat, or be clothed, or even, god forbid, have shelter or all the exorbitant, unnecessary luxuries...
I think it's the Being Born, that deserves to be fed and clothed and taken care of. If you don't want to pay for a child, then use a condom, and some sperm-killer on the side.
For what a parents endures raising a kid, be it as a mother or a father, 500 bucks is peanuts. Honestly, don't you realize that if condoms are used with spermicide, and maybe that whole "figure out your cycles" method, that the chances of having to pay up drop drastically? Birth control saves you money, dweeb. I'm sure that appeals to you.
"Why does getting knocked up deserve $500 a month?"
Why does believing in a book of fairytales deserve having the right to vote? Or breed?
Your point, Spex?
Or you could quit the whole 'Abortion is MURDER!' bullshit, if you think women shouldn't be allowed to feed their babies. Can't have it both ways, cuntbrain. Who'll feed & clothe their children in their stead? You? No? STFU then. And keep your noses out of matters that don't concern you.
Ergo, why you and your fundie ilk should never be allowed to vote. Or breed. QED.
Confused?
