"And they are more importantly OPINIONS because it is impossible to have FACTS on this subject because there is no CONSENSUS."
If there is no consensus on when human life begins, why is it that I provided you with dozens of peer-reviewed medical and biological sources to support life beginning at conception and you provided ZERO of same to support life beginning 3 minutes after you had your abortion because you couldn't fit into your prom dress?!?

More of the 'sperm meets egg (BOING) a tiiiny, fully formed, sentient, thinking and feeling baby who's to grow to birth size!' belief.
I provided you with dozens of peer-reviewed medical and biological sources to support life beginning at conception...
I'd like to see those. I guess the question is, how you define life. Even before meeting, the sperm & egg are alive - they're living cells. Once the egg is fertilized, it is not automatically a human, it is a fetus.
It won't become "human" until it can survive outside of its mother's womb.
Life =/= personality
In law, only a person can have rights. Before birth, you're not a person. And to be brutally frank being a person necessitates a degree of cognition, which a foetus does not have (I am excluding late-term medical abortions, which have more to do with balance of interests than a strict absence of rights).
But something like 50-80 percent of all fertilized eggs are flushed out either before they attach to the wall of the womb, or shortly after. So, most human life begins and ends in a matter of days, then.
This is the human being you're so het up about, Crazy.

The closest we have to consensus on this issue is that when the fetus can potentially survive outside the womb, life has begun. That is somewhere around week 23. A few fetuses have survived being born before that, but they are so undeveloped that they seldom catch up with those who are born after a normal 40 weeks. In most countries with liberal abortion laws, abortions are only allowed until about week 18-20, after that there needs to be some kind of medical problem for the abortion to be allowed.
At the time when almost all abortions are made (before week 12), you can’t see whether a woman is pregnant or just had a large meal. Fitting into a prom dress has probably never been used as the sole reason for an abortion.
Speaking of lack of consensus; the Bible says life begins with a breath.
dozens of peer-reviewed medical and biological sources to support life beginning at conception
Yeah, sure they were peer-reviewed. I suspect they're either all anti-abortion propaganda or don't exist in the first place. Mainly because it's pretty vague as to what you mean by "life beginning." If you mean the sperm and egg form a zygote which is alive, then yes. If you mean a fully-formed sentient human, then no.
A woman gets onto a crowded bus and shouts "Make way for a pregnant lady!" A man gives her a seat. The elderly lady in the adjacent seat pats her hand and says "And how long have you been pregnant, my dear?" The woman replies "Fifteen minutes, but ain't it exhausting!"

When Faux News fails at maths so bad that the remains of Florence Nightingale are rotating at increasing speeds at what is being done to her invention, then even 'Opinions' aren't worth shit.
Where had the other 93% come from, WGC? Mitt Romney - part of that Faux News FAIL illustrated above - miscalculated with his '47%' crack; half of whom are of course women . Resulting in 100% FAIL.
Even he had intelligence enough to rebuke Todd Akin, re. his 'Legitimate Rape' BS, so if he learned something it's the simple fact that the only one who has the right to have an opinion on the matter of abortion is the individual woman concerned.
The individual woman's right to decide. And nobody else's. That's the only Fact allowed.
...besides, Roe vs. Wade still existing from 1973, so I guess the Repubican Party's 'opinion' about that is they don't have the right to so much as think of having an 'Opinion' on abortion, otherwise why haven't they done something about it before now...?!
Or simply a case of Womb Envy much, WGC, or after too much Ben & Jerry's you couldn't fit into your prom dress?! >:D [/Freud]
Sorry, new-born's can't survive outside the womb, never could. Its a stupidly flawed analogy that actually supports the opposite argument.
That said, at the end of the day its just semantics and differing opinions - decide if you want abortion or not, then define your terms accordingly.
Then why can't you understand consent, atheism, abortion, nor anything else if you can find these links that should explain these things? Either links suck or you do. Perhaps both
"why is it that I provided you with dozens of peer-reviewed medical and biological sources"
You need to look up what "peer-reviewed", "medical" and "biological" actually mean, too.
Confused?
