(Excerpt from "Evolution Vs. Creation")
...the Bible is full of scientific facts, and the so-called science of evolution is the one that over time has proven itself to be the one that simply cannot stand up to scrutiny.
Do you like being on the cutting edge of knowledge? The Bible has always been years ahead of scientists, and is one of the most advanced science books around.

Hilarious! While it is in fact true that the Bible was once "cutting edge" in it's depiction of science, that was several thousand years ago.
We've managed to learn a few things since then. Remember: it is foolish to cede your independant thought to the millenia-old writings of a bronze-age nomadic culture with a severe persecution complex.
The Bible has nothing in it that wasn't known to people 4,000 years ago, and in many cases, even less.
Bullshit! I call bullshit! Whether intentional or not, this is simply bullshit. There isn't anything even remotely scientific in the Buybull. Other than Goddidit, what do you have? Oh, and did I call this bullshit?
Guys, go and look at the video on YouTube.
It's even funnier than this twit's comment.
Where do they find people who buy this bullshit?
Oh, right. The same place they find people who vote for Dubya and think Iraq had weapons of mass destruction..
Funny, I always found the Book of Armaments in particular to be rather outdated. I mean, it actually prescribed black powder for the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. If it was truly divinely inspired they'd know to use something with a little more bang in it, C4 or something like that.
At 2:11, this fool video claims that scientific advances are listed in the Bible before man discovered them. They give a scientific advancement and a citation, but don't say what the citation says.
Here's what they have:
Atomic Fission, 2 Peter 3:10. That verse says "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
Oceanic Currents, Ps. 8:8 and Isaiah 43:16.
Psalms 8:8 says "The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas." Isaiah says "Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;"
Innumerable stars, in Jeremiah 33:22. That says "As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me."
Well, I'm not gonna do 'em all, but you get the idea.
Funny how they only say "well, the bible mentioned that too," after some scientist (christian or not) made the hypothesis, performed the experiment, and published the results.
@The Watcher: Somebody ran that crap in our local paper and my wife sent me a copy. We have an agreement about not discussing religion like this, so I warned her about going this route, and asked her if she really wanted to do this kind of thing, and then I picked each one of them apart showing that it was claiming victory after the fact. It's never come up again. :)
Funny how the church didn't notice all of this 'information' until after science had discovered or proven them. Information doesn't help if nobody gives it; if it were known, the church didn't let on.
I have several questions:
1) What scientific facts?
2) How has evolution not stood up to scientific scrutiny?
3) Where in the bible are the following topics discussed: space travel, powered flight, computers, nuclear power, antibiotics, etc.
4) Define "most advanced science books around" in a realistic manner and not in reference to myths, legends and/or fairy tales.
Funny how they only say "well, the bible mentioned that too," after some scientist (christian or not) made the hypothesis, performed the experiment, and published the results. Right, and they often back it up with the sudden discovery that their holy book needs to be "interpreted correctly" in a certain way. In fairness, though, it isn't just Christians who do so.
The bible contains not a single scientific fact. It contains bizzare claims of magical cures involving bird blood and bird shit to treat illness.
It contains long discredited ideas and doctrines.
It is not a science book. It is a MYTHOLOGY book...
And by the way, Evolution has been observed and documented.
Biblical 'scientific facts':
*The earth is flat, and has corners.
*Rabbits chew their cud.
*Bats are birds.
*Insects only have 4 legs.
*Goats will produce striped offspring if breeding while looking at a striped stick.
*Stars are lights stuck in the sky, which is a solid dome (or watery dome, depending on which you're reading).
*The sun and moon are just lights that move around the earth.
*One cruise liner made of wood can hold a single pair of every creature in the world, comfortably, for 40 days.
Plus more, but my idiocy tolerance is nearly at its peak.
It's true people! A recently uncovered lost excerpt for Deuteronomy reveals the truth. It takes place while Moses, having come down from Sinai, is divulging the second law to the people.
"And the LORD did saith to me, a thosand years after I come to man, and a thousand more, people shall speak into boxes the size of a cows hoof, do not trust them, for these mobiles are the tools of Satan, and do steal man's souls. And man and woman shall meet on the ether in a land called myspace, and they shall speak for evermore, but hear nothing. Do not trusth them, for they are posturing emos. And low, the people shall buy ipod, though they do crash incesantly. And a hundred years before that, a gentile with a distinct hint of gorilla shall reveal how my creatures are made, and some of my people will call him Satan. He is not, or wil not be. I do give nudges, but do not question me for I am the LORD. Dark matter? Verily, that is some angels who were removethed from heaven for being fat gits, they shall goeth away after losing a few pounds. And matter shall be energy, and the same but other also true. And verily, cows with 8 buttocks will be made, but they are an adbomination in the sight of the LORD. GM crops I'm cool with. And the LORD did also say to me...
So there ya have it folks!
Confused?
