(Leopard Seals are) the second largest seal species reaching lengths of 11 and a half feet length and 840 pounds. Using their strong jaws and inch long teeth, leopard seals will kill and eat almost anything, including seals, squids, penguins, seabirds, and shellfish. Now did God originally create leopard seals to be such vicious predators? No, he didn’t! Genesis tells us that originally animals were created to be vegetarian, including leopard seals. It was because of sin that death and carnivory entered into the creation. Death was never part of God’s original design.

Questioner: "But, whenever vegetarian animals eat live plants, those plants DIE, don't they?"
Ken Ham (in a "let me correct your misconception" voice): "'Death' means that any being 'in whose nostrils are the breath of life', as the Bible puts it, has its life brought to an end! THAT is what was never part of God’s original design!!"
If seals were supposed to eat plants, why did God give them strong jaws that enable them to "eat almost anything, including seals, squids, penguins, seabirds, and shellfish"?
If death was not part of the original design, why do biological organisms have an instinctive need to procreate? After all, if no generation of a species ever dies, why do you need to make more of them?
Humans are even more vicious predators; we eat all those things, and a lot of land and air animals too.
Isn't God (supposedly) omnipotent? Then he must be able to form the world according to his plan.
Isn't God (supposedly) omniscient? If he hadn't created the Tree of Knowledge, none of this sinning would have happened.
Death was never part of God’s original design.
Then why was there also a Tree of Life where, if you ate from it, you'd live forever? And if death was never part of the plan, did God intend for the earth to be covered 20 feet deep with animals & humans? Because with all the procreation going on and no death, nobody would have room to stand after 6,000 years.
Geez I wish these creationist idiots would actually listen to the stupid arguments they come up with.
Plants and vegetation die too. If plants are eaten, they die.
Also, Biblical verse? Show me where it says they were created vegetarian. And why do animals suffer then because of humanity's doing? Is God's creation so weak and imperfect that one bite of one apple by one person caused the entire UNIVERSE descend into chaos?
Finally, how could these carnivores suddenly change diet? How? What mechanism? If you want to be scientific, propose a mechanism and an hypothesis then we can test.
Oh right, you can't. Your answer is "God did it".
Genesis tells us that originally animals were created to be vegetarian
Chapter & verse, asshole. And remember the fundie rule, if it doesn't say exactly that in plain language, it doesn't count.

"I read on here once that it was "Obvious that T rex was a herbivore because its teeth were obviously the right shape for sawing down trees" "
So....the T-Rex was the distant ancestor of the beaver?
