[The Bible is self-contradictory and states many things that we now know to be impossible or absurd.]
Not true. Nothing in the Bible can be proven false.

Leviticus, 11:22: Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
Leviticus, 11:23: But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you
Four legged insects. Found any yet?
You've either never read your holy book (meaning you couldn't know that nothing in it can be proven false), or are a Poe.
Okay, lemme splain something to you. It's called "the proper way to use negative evidence".
See, negative evidence is only useful when you know something should be there and it isn't. To wit...
-Where is the layer of mud that should exist in a consistent point in the geological column worldwide if there was a global flood?
-Where are the middens, latrines, and gravesites one would expect to dot the Sinai Peninsula if a nomadic group of 2 million people had spent 40 years there?
-Why do we have no written record of the unified kingdom of Israel before the reign of Rehoboam? Why do we have no evidence that the historical David was the ruler of that unified kingdom (or indeed any evidence of David beyond known members of his lineage in Judahite history)? Why do we have no evidence at all of king Saul?
-Why, if the Omride dynasty was the most cursed of all Israelite kings, was the northern kingdom so successful that it was not known as Israel but Bit Humri (House of Omri) in Assyrian records?
-Why was the righteous king Josiah of Judah murdered before reaching his forties but his allegedly corrupt grandfather had a 55-year reign? And why is it that the Bible refers to the allegedly blood-thirsty Manasseh's crimes in such vague terms?
-Why is it that John the Baptist is well-attested from contemporary records, but Jesus only appears in the historical record a couple of decades after his death, with the known letters of Paul?
-Why is it that four Gospels, three of which are known to derive from the same sources, don't seem to agree on numerous small but important details, when records of similar or greater age do not have these sorts of contradictions?
-Why is it that the Christian persecution mentioned in Revelation (IIRC claimed to be under the reign of Diocletian) never seems to have actually happened?
Nothing in the Bible can be proven false
Lots of things can, unless you allow bizarre extra-scriptural explanations invented out of thin air. For example, none of the Gospels mention a disciple named Nathaniel except John. So the "nothing in the Bible can be proven false" crowd say "Bartholomew must have had an alternative name: Nathaniel". But nothing in the Bible says anything about an alternative name for Bartholomew. The "nothing in the Bible can be proven false" crowd just made that up out of thin air to avoid admitting a biblical error. The same with the two different deaths of Judas: hanging and falling. The "nothing in the Bible can be proven false" crowd say "well, the rope must have broken while he was hanging himself and he fell headlong and split open from the fall". Again, invented out of thin air.
Au contraire. Let's see if I can list all the things wrong in the bible in jut ONE BREATH, since you say NOTHING about it can be proven wrong, that's fair, right?
Ahem.
*inhales* In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.1 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.2
And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was3. He called the light “day,”4 and... he called... ...the darkness... GAAAASP! Phew. It couldn't be done. Let's see...
