Well, Elizabeth, currently around 105,000 Christians are murdered every year by any number of non-Christian entities. Over 57 nations ban the preaching of Jesus Christ. Of those, a number ban the possession of the Holy Bible. In 'real' Islamic states, one born into a Muslim family who recants that and accepts Jesus Christ is considered an infidel and the 'family' is legally protected if they stone the convert to death.
So, tell me again why we should NOT ban religions in our Country that are actively engaged in genocide of the Christians in Africa, Middle East, and the Islamic crescent of states?

The only reason those things (which are, I quite agree, horrible) are happening is because of theocracy . Not religion, theocracy - the replacement of a state with a church. The reason it will never happen in the United States is because we accept all religions here, as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. What you are suggesting is no better than what they are doing right now.

Well to be fair, Ben Joyner is right about Christians being killed. Perhaps not in those numbers, but Nigeria is an excellent example. Of course along with the Nigeria example comes the number of non Christians that the local Christians kill each year. Both Sides have been slaughtering each other in a tit for tat revenge war for ages.

Christians have committed murders right here in the US. By your own logic, we should ban Christianity.
Similarly, by your logic, if you can hold one Muslim guilty of the crimes of other Muslims thousands of miles away, we can hold you guilty of the crimes of other Christians committed elsewhere.
