The basic system of life i.e. RNA/DNA is clearly the work of a single pair of hands, i.e. God’s. Moreover it is provable that macroevolution is unworkable. Nonetheless evidence suggests that the re-engineering of life forms was a cottage industry of some sort in the recent past of this planet and that more than one pair of hands was involved. God wouldn’t need 100 subtypes of horses and again there is no reasonable way to picture God having created biting flies and ticks.

And what's to say god doesn't want 100 different kinds of horses? I mean, most of his interaction with animals was in his requests on what kind, how it was to be killed, where to sprinkle the blood, what kind of fire to build etc. All because he found the scent pleasing.
And of course god made the biting flies and ticks, he made them to torment the 100 subtypes of horses.

Exactly; there is no reason for a benevolent god to create biting insects and arachnids. Its' much more plausible that they emerged natural, through random mutations and natural selection.
