These people never consider that the existence of a spiritual realm outside of the material one is astonishingly nebulous at best, and any knowledge of its nature is exponentially more so.
Even if their eschatology were true, from what Revelations says, a HUGE PROPORTION OF THE HUMAN RACE IS SLAUGHTERED, A TYRANNICAL WORLD DICTATOR MASSACRES INNOCENT PEOPLE; STARVATION, DISEASE, DISASTER, WAR, AND PAINFUL TORTURE ABOUND...
So...what's so good about this? Are they so selfish about their getting Raptured to heaven that they welcome the horrors that would've happened to everyone else?
I used to feel bad for these dumb cattle-people who stared at the heavens, waiting for an Angelic trumpeting to herald their entrance to the "Kingdom of God."
Now, I think that these deluded sociopaths who wallow in their own willful ignorance deserve the life ahead of them. Tearful stares at the heavens, waiting for "Jesus" to take them from the world they've convinced themselves to hate...and on the last day they're alive, still waiting, wondering why Jesus never came. Then the next generation suffers the same curse.
