[Do you care and feel sorry and pray for other victims of natural disasters in other countries?]
No. They brought it upon themselves.
Earth is actually reflecting back to them, what they believe about themselves.
Earth is already stable and completely healed.
It is only our perception that Earth needs healing which makes disasters occur.

Ivurm: I'd say christian. Wiccans feel the need to protect the environment and I have yet to meet one in my two decades in the Pagan community who thinks 'the earth has been healed'. Most of them are strong environmentalists.
Christians on the other hand, believe their god gave mankind the earth to do with as we see fit, and since Jesus is coming back any second, there is no point in cleaning up after ourselves.

Through meticulous study of natural phenomena, such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis etc. we have found several potential solutions to these disasters which help mitigate and reduce the death toll, as well as any economic impact and secondary effects (e.g. disease). This is particularly the case in more developed countries with better education, and an economy that can fund mitigation. If we were to listen to you and start neglecting our research into these natural hazards, whilst having utmost faith in a deity, we'd see the death toll rise sharply, along with the amount of destroyed buildings and a higher risk of an epidemic. Is this what your god would want?
What about natural disasters right here at home? If your neighbors (the nice ones, the ones you really like) have their house blown apart by a tornado, did THEY bring it on themselves? If your house washes away in the next flood, or has a tree crash through the roof, did YOU bring it on yourself? A volcano is just a volcano and an earthquake is just an earthquake. They are impartial in their havoc, and care not a whit who they destroy. Maybe us next time.
So when members of your religion die in other countries, they brought it on themselves through what they believe? What, then, is the good of your religion?

Every reptile i’ve ever encountered has none of those traits. They’re kind, loving organisms*. Why you would even CONSIDER such a statement befuddles me.
*Well to me at least. Pick an reviled animal. Any single one. Spiders, wasps, bees, sharks, snakes etc. It gravitates towards me. It’s kinda vexing. I seem to attract creatures disliked by most of mankind.
Continuation of previous comment:
And why do people hate snakes anyways? Is it because of the Adam and Eve thing? The poor things just need some love. Oh, and on a tangentially related note, did you know Australia has 90% of all venomous snakes? Crazy isn’t it?
@Daspletosaurus
Fair enough, I suppose.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
