I feel it should be said though, that most homosexuals don't believe it's the superior way to be. That kind of thinking is reserved for the fundamentalists really; because it's my experience and personal belief that it's just a piece of who you are. Is one human superior to another because its eye color is blue as opposed to green? No ... not really at all.
But where you shouldn't consider yourself superior for it, neither should you let others condemn you as inferior for it; Which is why Pride and marches have been established: as a refusal to be ashamed of something unchangeable.
The message doesn't get through somehow though, to those who interpret it as gays flaunting who they are, let alone expressing that they consider themselves superior.
