[Talking about the Triquetra symbol]
Tragically, the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible uses this same Satanic symbol on the cover (pictured to the left). Now you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that something is very wrong here folks. And yes, the NKJV is straight from Hell. Any symbol cherished by witches and Satanists doesn't belong on the front of a Bible (or anywhere in Christianity). Not one place in the entire Bible did God ever instruct us to use symbols, idols, or icons. For this reason, it is wrong for any believer to have a crucifix. Jesus is no longer on the cross friend, He is in Heaven on the right-hand of the Father.

Well, he's ranted about Marilyn Monroe and I Love Lucy, and he's at least namedropped (if not gone on a full-on rant about) The Wizard of Oz with regards to how satanic it is, so 35 years old is hardly a new low for him.

One man's tragedy....
Actually, I think the mumbo-jumbo of all Abrahamic religions is a tragedy, but if I didn't laugh, I'd have to cry.
In your case Davey, I think religion prevented you from realizing your full potential as a psychopath, so I guess it does have its good side.
@Reptilian
A cross is different from a crucifix.
A crucifix has Jesus on it, a cross is bare.
Stupid distinction, but one you become well-acquainted with if you're raised in evangelical churches.
It's also a stupid reason for evangelicals to diss the catholic church over, but they do.
OK, David, now you're just making shit up. And not a single reference to under-age nymphs, either......
Yet another change by man to the "inerrant, infallible, unchanging" "word of god".
And this was because what we really needed was yet another version of the bible? We didn't have enough already? Maybe man should change "god's word" a few more times, just in case. Having so many different versions of this "One True Book" makes it so easy to pick the one correct version, right?
Why couldn't the omniscient, omnipotent, omnibenevolent creator of the universe come up with one version of "his word" that doesn't require man to change, revise, modify, and update?
Speaking of a cross, crucifix, or whatever...
If Jesus died in a different era and in a different way, would christians instead be wearing another torture device as jewelry? Perhaps a noose? Or a guillotine? Or perhaps an electric chair?
So if JFK ever came back, would he want to see everyone wearing a version of the 6.5 mm Carcano Model 91/38 carbine around their necks as jewelry? You know, "Just to keep the faith"?
The Triquetra (which translates to 'three cornered'), existed far before christianity. It's three points represent the three stages of existence inherent in most of nature:
Maiden/Mother/Crone
Youth/Father/Sage
Seed/Flower/Fruit
Life/Death/Rebirth
It can also be elemental:
Land/Sea/Air
People who tend to embrace the symbol generally come from either a Germanic or Celtic background, whether Pagan or not. However, I will concede that a great many Pagans love the symbol because of it's reflections of nature and the elements.
If you fuckers were that upset about the existence of pre-christian symbols, perhaps you wouldn't have tried to rip them off and claim them as yours in the first place.
While you're mulling that over, we'd like our holidays back too, you holier-than-thou fucking asshole.
"Now you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that something is very wrong here folks."
No shit. The problem is that you don't see what actually is wrong.
By the way:
"Not one place in the entire Bible did God ever instruct us to use symbols, idols, or icons."
In the biblical Book of Numbers, the Nehushtan was a "bronze serpent" on a pole which God told Moses to erect to prevent the Israelites who saw it of dying from the bites of "fiery serpents" which God had sent to punish them for speaking against God and Moses.
Doesn't it represent the trinity?
"And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived." That's an idol, pal.

Yeah, what I was thinking; Big Daddy, Junior, and The Spook.
It ain't Rocket Surgery.
It's not a Satanic symbol, fuckwit. It's a fairly generic bit of knotwork. We do have symbols but this isn't one of them and you'd have to be, well, you, to think it is.
Confused?
