Who says we're entitled to the pursuit of happiness? Man's law? Nothing in God's law says we have the right to be happy.
You're right, it dosen't, But there is also a significant (and growing) part of the population that doesn't kowtow to your "god". So you have two choices kill or convert every single non-christian (And thus violating at least one commandment) or, alternatively, you can shut the fuck up.
I find it amusing that when speaking on certain subjects fundamentalist christians are quick to make an appeal to the "law" of Moses, but when confronted on an aspect of those "laws" that modern day christians just outright ignore then the response is usually "Jesus fulfilled the law and we now live under a new covenant", but condemning homosexuality those very same christians won't hesitate for a second to revert back to the "law" of Moses. It seems to me that the "law" of "god" is not as inviolable as christian claim, seeing as how they just take what they want when they need it, but when it's even slightly inconvenient to themselves... well then the "law" doesn't mean all that much after all.
Humans are here to make God happy, not themselves happy.
So much for free will huh? Would you mind pointing out the bible verse that expressly points out that humanity in fact has no other purpose than to ensure that "god" is always happy. Under your worldview then humanity is "god's" most beloved creation, we are just pets to be cast off if we dare displease it in the slightest.
Homosexuality does not make God happy.
Boo-Fucking-Hoo, get over it. Not everyone is concerned about whether you think you "god" is happy or not. This is not a Christians Only country, nor is it run under the principle of Christianity uber Alles. You don't have a say in lives of other whether you think they are making "god" happy or not, The US was formed on the principle that no one could compel anyone else to follow the dictates of a religion that was not their own. If you don't like that then go find a nice theocracy to call home, or kill every single person who doesn't agree with your particulartheology, or shut the fuck up and learn to deal with the fact that you are not special and you do not have the right to demand that everybody else must respectyour "god" no matter what.
