Newsflash Sonny Jim, it's not the Victorian or Edwardian era anymore, and we no longer need to fetishize the death of young women because we can cure consumption now and have advanced socially such that we don't have to look on women as artifacts, idols or fetishes of innocence to be mourned and adored. Princesses love him, but Edgar Allan Poe was a product of his time when it came to looking at women.
