"If your theory is incontrovertibly correct, why assail Creationists? What do you have to be concerned about?"
For many people truth is is more than personal, it is a principle.
A principle that must be defended against liars and shysters like yourself who con millions of people into false and pointless beliefs. Wasting thousands of labour hours in churches, synagogues, mosques and so forth.
Defenders of truth will not go away because you don't like what the truth is.
"the same tired phrases that are used and reused all over the internet."
Perhaps you should begin to listen then if it is so repeatable. Facts tend to be constant.
"Is any current scientific research affected by the beliefs of Creationists?"
There's more to science than research. See the aforementioned principle of truth.
"For you, evolution is a fact and no one can say different."
Sure they can, we're all eagerly at our keyboards waiting for that amazing scientist, thinker or researcher to blow us all out of the water with the astonishing discovery that sees them hailed as a great mind of history.
Maybe one day evolution will be disproved or heavily modified to the point it no longer resembles Darwin's original concept. But until then, shut up. Leave the questioning of evolution to the people smart enough to ask the right questions and unbiasedly investigate the answers. Not teenagers.
"incontrovertibly correct"
Rule 1 of sciencyness: Nothing is absolutely correct, ever, not even this statement. That's why we call 'em theories and laws (laws are made to be broken), because science isn't arrogant enough to call any theory absolutely, positively conclusive.
Now cower insolent enemy of truth! Flee before the numerous and mighty defenders of fact over myth!
