There's already been a WWIII, only nobody noticed. And without a single shot fired, never mind an ICBM. China bought up the US's debts, during the financial shenanigans that came as a result of the policies of the likes of specter's God Emperor of Fucking Up, George Dumbya Bush (and remember, teabaggers: Obama only inherited the unholy mess created by Dumbya; remember how the economy was never in better shape, prior to Dumbya's election - by Clinton: a Democrat?).
China now has a stealth plane (the J-20). They have nukes. They have the most powerful supercomputer on the planet to date. They hold $1.5 trillion in foreign currency reserves. That's US Dollars, not the equivalent amount in, say, Euros, Yen etc.
...oh, and like I say, the little matter of all those debts they bought up. Say hello to your new landlord, Repubicans, Teabaggers, Neocons, Religious Right et al:
