The Garden of Eden was located in the realm that God and the angels dwell in, which wasn't in the physical realm on Earth. There was a stargate that was the entrance and exit between the two realms. The angel that guarded this entrance and exit didn't really have a flamming sword but one like the light saber in Star Wars, which resembled a flamming sword to keep Adam and Eve from re-entering the stargate to return to the realm of God. I would imagine it would also prevent water from entering it if God wanted to keep it out.

It's science FICTION, which means it's made up, which means...
Oh, wait, you people can't tell the difference between reality and fiction, can't you?
"The Garden of Eden was located in the realm that God and the angels dwell in, which wasn't in the physical realm on Earth."
Well, I guess that's convenient for when people start asking you to point out Eden on a map.
"There was a stargate that was the entrance and exit between the two realms."
Stargate? Too much sci-fi I see.
"The angel that guarded this entrance and exit didn't really have a flamming sword but one like the light saber in Star Wars, which resembled a flamming sword to keep Adam and Eve from re-entering the stargate to return to the realm of God."
Yep. Definitely too much sci-fi on the brain.
You dress up as a Klingon on weekends, don't you? C'mon, admit it.
"I would imagine it would also prevent water from entering it if God wanted to keep it out."
Well DUH! Obviously.
Aw, man. I always thought science fiction fans were all intelligent. Nerdy and unwashed, yes, but intelligent.

Does this have something to do with Nicolas Flammel? Because you seem to be getting SG1, Harry Potter and Star Wars all mixed up.

Feh, why didn't god just use an iris?

The Garden was in Eden, which is likely Egypt. The garden itself might even be the city that Ankhenaten built (Amarna). It is also possible that the garden refers to a place in Mesopotamia. Since myths were borrowed from Egypt and Babylon, getting at the original story and knowing if there was an actual garden is extremely difficult.
The Garden of Eden was located in the realm that God and the angels dwell in
The description of Eden mentions actual places on earth: Assyria and the Euphrates. And while biblical literalists point out that the original locations would have been destroyed by the Flood, that doesn't salvage the chosen one's nonsense, because the Flood was on the earth, too.
I'm with Sock.
When you start believing your own fanfic, it's time to go take a hike in the mountains or something.
Next thing you know, The Chosen One will be cranking out Jesus / Daniel Jackson slashfic.
You DARE interpret the Bible as anything other than what is literaly written in it? Right, that's it, straight to hell. But before you get there, I recommend some Psychiatric treatment, because you are TOTALLY INSANE!
So, Yahweh was/is a Goa'uld, and the angel guarding the Stargate into Eden was his First Prime?
ooh.. so that means the "serpent" was actually a rival System Lord, then!
Wow.. Christianity just got a whole lot cooler. :P
"a stargate"
....srsly?
A call Poe right there.
We really need to ban these people from the internet, and from watching TV it seems.
If you can't tell fantasy from reality, stay the hell away from fantasy.
A "flamming" sword? Pray tell, what does one do with a flamming sword?
[EDIT] @Dark_Lord_Prime; I never thought of that before. Maybe the "iron chariots" were some sort of Combat Vehicle designed by Apophis...
If not a Poe, and one often can't tell...
Given the ever more ridiculous and desperate measures that you fundies have to adopt in a desperate bid to try and prove the Bible true, don't you think that you now be starting to finally get the meassage? That, actually, it's all bullshit?
Occam's Razor, etc.
What the US Air Force was able to do with computers interfaced with the Naqahdah that the Stargate was made of: thus 20th/21st Earth technology was able to be a 'Dial Home Device'.
Who knows what exotic technologies already exist at Groom Lake, OP: better pray that it's a device not big enough to drive M1 Abrams Iron Chariots through...! [/Judges 1:19; "The Salvation War"]
Also, FN-2199's - a.k.a. 'TR-8R' - riot control baton: as his former comrade in the First Order Finn discovered.
Moral: Never try to out-geek a Sci-Fi enthusiast, fundies; if you strike us down, we shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
