Side note: I have one suggestion on word usage. Illumination is what Satan does. Bringing into the light is what God does. Hence why the illuminati is called what it is. Studying black magic and witchcraft, I came to figure this out.
Note: I studied this so I knew as a Christain what I was up against when I met someone who believed this.

"Illumination is what Satan does. Bringing into the light is what God does."
So Satan turns the lamp on, then God drags you to it?
So putting light on something is bad, but pulling something into the light is good. Right. This isn't logic, not the kind I'm familiar with. This is crazy moon logic. I feel myself slipping into insanity.

O'RLLY?
Where did you study this? Harvard? Princeton? Berkeley?
Or did you just pull it out of your unstudied ass? I lean toward the latter.
No, no, you got it all wrong!
The point ikester is trying to make, is that Latin words are demonic, and long anglo-saxon paraphrases are godly... It's not a matter of meaning, but of length and origin.
So Illumination is a latin word (12 characters), and latin = catholic = evil = definitely not christian, while "bringing into light" is anglo-saxon (19 characters), and of course anglo-saxon = good = christian.
Pfft.... It is the "devil" (latin, 5 characters) at work, and not "our Lord and Savior" (anglo-saxon, 19 characters), that prevents you from seeing the truth... And of course this happens in a forum about evolution (latin, 9 characters) and Intelligent design (aaaarghhh, also latin, but 18 characters, so it does not really count)...
So this is settled, and you're welcome.

Haha, JW. That's a very good one!
To the stupid original poster: That explains the name of the Devil, then. Lucifer, bringer of light. But, I thought he was named before he fell...
Wait, I read that wrong. I read that as Satan was bringing light into what God was doing, and wondered why it was bad to bring light to what He was doing. Now it's even more stupid. Hey dumbass, "illumination" is a synonym to "light-bringing".

Oh sure! Just like you studied porn to know what you were up against, right?
Confused?
