A drogadict and a drunkard are people who ACQUIRED those vices. Homosexuals are either born that way or..........well, they may have acquired it but we don´t know how and we don´t care, for that matter.
God is so much more interested in straightening out the gay community than he is curing disease, hunger, war, etc, etc . . . .

Well if God exists and is omnipotent, as the RR folks say, then he certainly can change a homosexual. If he doesn't, then we can be pretty sure that it's God's will that this person is a homosexual.

As a gay person, I am not sure what a "practicing homosexual" is.
However, I know I'm not going to burn, because my boyfriend (who is a lot darker than I am, by the way) just took his big, broad, brown, buttery hands and slathered on loads of creamy, oozing, dripping sun block all over every square centimetre of my quivering, grateful body... MMMMMMM....
