Ok. . . .
Heeeere we go. Biology lesson.
Believe in Heritablity? (i.e., if you have a certain trait, your offspring will be more likely to have it than if you don't)
Good.
Believe in Variation? (in a certain trait, there are variations that exist)
Good.
Believe in Differential Success Among Varients? (among existing variations, certain variations are more effective)
Ok, now we do the crazy thing. . . Put these three things together in your head RATIONALLY. . . Oooops, there's evolution.
If he/she thinks rationally, he/she will fire you as his/her teacher and discard that creationism bullshit right away.
Sheep shouldn't be let to think, moron, that isn't the way of the fundie!
Religion, religion, religion! *thump thump*
a terrible way to die *thump thump*
a terrible way to die *thump thump*
a terrible way to craze to death, a terrible way to die! *thump thump*
...
OK then. I hereby promise that if you can come up with a logical, rational argument for why we were created instead of evolving, I will believe you.
This is the part you people just aren't understanding. We are not rejecting creationism on a whim, we are rejecting it because we have been convinced by rational arguments and our own logic.
Oh, badly cut. Here was the punchline:
"Now for some revelation! With this creative power we can create something within our minds although we cannot create something that is of a higher creative order then we have! It's like having a cup of water filled to the brim... it cannot hold more water! That is the secret of creation... that we cannot create at a higher creative power! This proves (if you searched yourself and are honest) that our source is top down rather then bottom up and the key to this understanding is creation power!
Yes....YES! I understand now! The Universe was created because creators cannot create anything better than themselves, therefore the Universe had a creator that was greater than the Universe! BRILLIANT! Pass the cocaine.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
