These people just astonish me. How do their thought processes even work?
I mean, for example:
Dylann Roof was a well known racist, said flatly he wanted to start a race war, wrote an entire manifesto outlining exactly how he hoped shit would go to hell and why, targetted a majority black community in a situation they would be vulnerable in and that would spark outrage and again freaking said that's what he was doing.
To top it off this is also in the community where a cop shot an unarmed black man in the back 8 times when he fled a traffic stop and very nearly got away with calling it self-defence. Turns out systemic racism is something of an ongoing problem there because a review of the case reveals that the entire police department has a history of putting the screws to the largely non-white community and pulling out tasers with little to no provocation.
"Obviously" this means he's not racist and hates Christianity despite attending a Lutheran church regularly enough that his family's pastor made a statement about him.
It's like fucking Obama. He shows people his birth certificate, steps up the so-called "War on Terror" and even kills Osama bin Laden, drinks, eats pork, has no beard, attends a Christian church, meets his opposition halfway at the very least on pretty much every issue, and refuses to crack down on people directly threatening his life.
"Obviously" he is somehow doing the opposite of all that shit and is a Muslim who wasn't born to an American citizen and has been just waiting to send out an oppressive army to forcibly convert the masses to Islam and Communism and send every dissenter to death camps.
Any second now... for all of his two terms.
It is eternally opposite day for these assholes. "Teach the controversy" like the readily observable fact of evolution being an elaborate hoax that somehow costs billions of dollars annually with no explicable purpose until any teaching material would be controversial to beliefs lazily tacked onto religion, like the notion that homosexuals have rights. Christians are persecuted and shunned in America despite being the majority of the population and having the most say in local policy when an atheist is considered at a disadvantage in politics without a religious base or even barred from serving in a public office in some states. Think of the children and how being bullied into tolerating anything they don't agree with will forcibly alter their world view and endanger them but also ruthlessly bully children into fitting a mould whether they want to or not.
Just... how do they come to these conclusions?
