[From a thread titled: Christianity Is The Only Logical Religion]
I accept Christianity as the only logical religion because I utilized logical and analytical thinking to ascertain that Christianity is the only logical religion and that the doctrines of the Deity Of Christ, the Holy Trinity and the other historical Christian doctrines that Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Mainline Protestant Churches and Fundamentalist Protestant Churches all believe in are totally logical to believe in.

Translation--"I accept Christianity as the only logical religion because...I am a Christian."
Circular logic 101.
"...the other historical Christian doctrines that Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Mainline Protestant Churches and Fundamentalist Protestant Churches all believe in are totally logical to believe in."
shhh, nobody tell him about that many of those doctrines (eg, papal infallibility vs. sola scriputra) are mutually exclusive
if I say "logical" enough times, then it must be!
Part of logic is self-consistency, and this the bible is not. Is god everywhere? Who's joseph's daddy? Depends on where you look and what you read.
I notice he deliberately excludes the Coptic Christians.
What do you have against the Egyptians, RobertMazar?!
1 Round and round the fundie circular logic goes where it stops nobody knows.......
2 "Logical religion" is an uber-oxymoron. The only religion that even attempts to be logical seems to be Deism and I'm not sure how logical it is, or if its even a religion.
'Logic' is a fun word to use, isn't it?
Logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic, logic!
Here's a quote from CARM I found.
"
Logical and analytical thinking dictates that God exists and that God is a Holy Trinity(One God in three persons) and that Christ is God Incarnate. And anybody who denies that God exists and denies the Deity Of Christ and denies the Holy Trinity is obviously incapable of logical and analytical thinking. I accept that God exists and that God is a Holy Trinity and that Christ is God Incarnate and that Christianity is the only logical religion because I utilized logical and analytical thinking to ascertain that God exists and that God is a Holy Trinity and that Christ is God Incarnate and that Christianity is the only logical religion."

Fanatic-Templar: Say it that many times and it just looks like it's spelled wrong... or just becomes a meaningless word, if it's actually said.... XD
As for Mr. Mazar... just *what* branch of Christianity do you feel is logical? Each is their own seperate little religion (part of a bigger whole), but you can't just call them the same exact things.
If you aren't a troll, at least....
Man! I read this post, and then got the same feeling I get when I try to "read" something in a language I don't know.
I also feel like I just got off a tilt-a-whirl. This statement is so circular, it physically hurts!
Damn it's a shame Vulcan's don't actually exist - this guy could be our secret weapon to make their heads explode.

Prove it, fundie!
Lets see, the Bible has a lot of flaws in it, and contradictions. Maybe, someone (not me) should actually start spamming flaws of the Bibles in fundie forums.
You're on Fundies Say The Darndest Things, so logically and analytically you must be a fundie.
Protestantism is just a bastardization of Catholicism anyway.
Here is a facinating human invention. It's called a dictionary. Dictionaries tell people what words mean. Try looking up "logical" and "analytical thinking". Meanwhile, we're going to take you away and put you in this special jacket, and place you in a room with niiiice padded walls...
RobertMazar -- it is physically impossible for virgins to give birth. Even if a baby is artificially implanted into the womb, a thin membrane closes off the birth canal from the vagina that is only broken the first time a woman has sex. Both the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus would have died in childbirth.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
