Actually the Romans believed in Zeus. The Romans stole the Greek gods and renamed them. And if "by whatnot" you mean other pagan gods then "the Greeks" must have also included the Druids, Egyptians, Mayans, Norse etc etc

The planets were not always here. Astronomy and cosmology fail. God is not alive and doing miracles. Religion fail. And, the Greek gods were versions of Egyptian gods, which were versions of Babylonian/Assyrian/Sumerian gods, which were borrowed from Hinduism, and the Greek gods in turn influenced the Roman gods, which influenced the Germanic gods, which influenced the Norse, then Celtic gods. See where I'm going with this? The "Greek" gods are only cultural variations on gods that were worshiped in many time periods and cultures, just under different cultural guises. And, they were not forced on people, which is the only reason why your god thrives today, forced conversions, and playing on the ignorance of the uneducated in third world countries. Way to go, bitch.
