Extremist right-wing activist Theodore Shoebat dedicated his most recent video to railing against the evils of Hinduism, declaring that if he was a dictator, he would invade India, destroy all Hindu temples and force everyone to convert to Christianity.

After complaining, without a hint of irony, that he regularly gets compared to ISIS for his beliefs, Shoebat proclaimed that he would not hesitate to invade India and force all Hindus to convert to Christianity while also outlawing the practice of yoga in America.

"You need to Christianize the land," he stated. "We need to destroy these false religions, end of story. Hinduism is an evil, demonic, anti-Christ religion. It needs to be uprooted from the earth and it has no place in the world."

Apart from a few details, Hinduism is an incredibly cool family of sects (Yes, Hinduism isn't strictly one religion, it's different sects with many different interpretations running the gammut of Liberal/egalitarian/fluid to Conservative/authoritarian/strict) and Jesus (as I see him) was the Mid-East answer to Krishna, embodying the spirit and power of Vishnu!....

As for Jesus saying "...not one jot or one tittle shall be shall pass from the law...", I don't think he meant "The Law" as "The Whole Law of Moses", it think he meant the far simpler and more universal Decalogue or it's distillation, The Two Greatest commandments. After all, the guy actually bent and broke a few Mosaic laws when he was around....

....Granted, hard-core debauchery and irresponsible sex is a dumb and dangerous thing (diseases...unplanned pregnancy...etc.) but you can still be sexually moral while being sexually open. Also, I have a better way to interpret some of Jesus' more "questionable" statements using reason and seeing the character's actions/personality....
* About anger being the same as murder: Don't plan on murdering someone or having murderous rage at someone. If you think "murder", you have murdered. It's not about being generally mad at someone.
* About lusting after someone being the same as adultery: Don't literally COVET another person's spouse or someone other than your spouse. It's the same as the former concerning anger. It's not about general sexual fantasy.
* Concerning divorce: This one's touchy but we need to look at historical circumstances....Women had few rights and nowhere to go if they were dumped. Marriage, back then was also a contract involving property and to start families. Divorce would mess up a lot of stuff back then. This teaching was more of a "fair for it's day" thing. Also, who said a one couldn't come up with an "un-marriage" ritual? Who said marriage was necessary? Why not have a simple handfasting?
* Not peace but a sword: A poorly-translated prophecy from Jesus on how people were going to be warmongering oppressive scum in his name. Think about the rest of his life and teachings; This statement taken literally would be big-time OOC.
* Not coming to abolish the Law: The Law is not the bajillions of stupidly oppressive rules in the Mosaic Law. That was meant for ancient Hebrews. The real Law is just the Decalogue (10 Commandments), which (for the most part) is quite easy and rational; Don't murder, don't lie & cheat, don't steal, don't be consumed by Jealousy, etc. Other traditions have similar ethical concepts.

The fact you've been doing what you have, and for half of your daughter's life, is proof of behaviour that is mental handicap-based. Has she behaved the way you have in public? There are those with Down's Syndrome who don't behave as you have, so what does that say about you?

Justify your being on FSTDT for a second longer, based on your length of time doing what you have: Trolling. If you can. Is what you're doing the actions of a sad act who should Get A Life? Yes or No.

Take a good, long look at your life, and consider what you've been doing with it: for eight years. Half of your daughter's life. Seems she already has one: and she's only sixteen.

Have you made just one convert to your way of thinking here in FSTDT in all those eight years? After all: if it weren't for you fundies - if you never so much as thought the way you did - then FSTDT wouldn't exist.

The longest she's gone without posting in FSTDT is two months. If between now and a little beyond early March we see nothing of her, then I'm willing to trust Ron.

That, coupled with the fact that he - and their daughter* - has posted without an account-logged name (note their names sans line underneath), means I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Doesn't mean that I won't still check via the Search facility, though; 'Trust, but Verify' and all that jazz.

I'll give it till June 2016. If we hear no more from her after that, I'm prepared to accept it's him. If she does return, I'm prepared to admit here and now that I was wrong.

And should she reinfect FSTDT, then hopefully she'll be IP banned. Frankly, enough is enough. Other forums/boards would have permabanned her way before now, so perhaps in 2016 the new administration should take the same attitude with the likes of Doris, and her now far too long record of shitting up threads.
