Most scientists do not accept evolution.
Kent Hovind is just one example of the many great scientific minds who have rejected this ungodly theory.

"Most scientists do not accept evolution."
[citation needed] And non-biologists don't count.

The only sentence in which the name "Kent Hovind" and the phrase "great scientific mind" are allowed to appear together is "Kent Hovind is by no stretch of the imagination a great scientific mind."
BWAHAHAHAHA!!!!! This nutcase thinks Hovind is a great scientist. So, tell me this: how has Hovind's work in any way added to our understanding of... well of anything?!?! lol, this made laugh so hard!
Most scientists do not accept evolution.
Except for the majority of the scientific community, which does.
Kent Hovind is just one example of the many great scientific minds who have rejected this ungodly theory.
If by great you mean great big heaping pile of bull shit. also if God was real and all powerful it could have easily set up evolution to see what would happen with us as we evolved.

Lol, I'm sorry, that's /thread right there. This comment wins.
Since when is Kent Hovind, receiver of a non-accredited PhD, a great, or even real scientist?
He and other fundies pretending to be scientists say Evolution isn't real. The actual scientists disagree.
Kent Hovind is just one example of the many great scientific minds
No, no he's not. Sorry. He fails even as a student of Theology, much less any other sort of science.
Kent Hovind is just one example of the many great scientific minds...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
(Deep breath)
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
If Kent "God pays my taxes" Hovind is an example of a great scientific mind, then we, as a species, are in deep, deep trouble.
Obligatory link to Hovind's tribute video...

All this talk of inmate #06452-017's cereal-box "degrees" reminds me of my favourite fundie rebuttal ever. There was a picture doing the rounds of the suburban house that's listed as #06452-017's alma mater's street address, and the fundies responded with a picture of the actual campus. A prefab (yes, singular) on an acre of scrubland. The message seemed to be "they're not completely rubbish, just almost completely rubbish!"
Ok, I'm about to ask you a serious question and I want you to answer truthfully.
Where do you get your drugs?
Good thing he said "scientific minds" beacuse kent hovind sure aint a scientist.
He isnt a scientific mind either though, but people are free to call themselv such if they wish >.>
Most scientists are not involved in Biology. To my brother-in-law, a doctor in the field of engineering, it doesn't matter whether we share a common ancestor with chimpanzees and swans or not.
Kent Hovind is one of very few "scientists" who reject ToE, ungodly or not.
Wait, did you call him a great scientific mind?
*dies of laughter*
If he had a great mind of any kind, how did he cheat so poorly on his taxes, that he ended up i jail?
“Most scientists do not accept evolution.”
This is something YEC parents tell their kids when they have nightmares. “There’s no evolutionist under your bed, sweetie, most scientists don’t even think they’re real.”
Fact is that about 95% of the scientists in the country accept evolution.
And among the biologists, that rises to 99%.
Your popularity argument is meaningless AND incorrect.
“Kent Hovind is just one example of the many great scientific minds who have rejected this ungodly theory”
It’s not an ungodly theory. Really. All of science is secular, it’s neutral on the question of the supernatural. You can accept the evidence for evolution AND believe in your god without any conflict.
It does mean that Genesis is a parable, but many Christains already think that.
And Kent Hovind is not a great scientific mind. He’s not a great mind.
He perjured himself in tax court while he was on trial. This is not a great thinking man.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
