Yes, and when we rebelled against King George III (King by the Grace of God, Defender of the Faith, head of the state church, and monarch of an officially Christian country), that really gave God a hissy fit. That means that He must be removing His hand veeeeery slowly.

God had his hand of GRACE throughout the formation of America, leading the charge on (and justifying) theft, rape, and genocide. God continued his hand of GRACE to allow slavery in America as well as rights for only white land owners to vote!
