Even Darwin, the person who suggested the Big Bang and evolution said that it could not have happened. He stated himself that the human eye is too complex to have just formed one day or evolved into what it is. There is no way the right elememts, cells, atoms, ect...could have come together just right to make the human eye.
Think of it this way....could a coke can, with the prefect size, color, label, even the little bitty copy rights symbol, appear out of thin air?? Or could you put a piece of tin foil on the ground and watch it evolve into Ferrari??? Evolution is bogus. If evolution were true, why are there still apes?? How come ALL the primates haven't evolved into humans??

Firstly, spontaneous aluminum can generation =/= evolution.
Secondly, Darwin had nothing to do with the Big Bang Theory.
Thirdly, the human eye began, millions and millions if not billions of years ago, as a patch of skin that happened to be light-sensitive. It has gradually (very gradually) adapted to become more precise, gained the ability to perceive and register the electromagnetic spectrum. This process has taken more time than most of us can truly comprehend, and yes, the sheer odds against such a development are mind-blowing, but it is the most likely explanation we have for the development of the human eye, beyond "Goddidit."
Finally, you're an idiot.
Also, this idea that apes need to evolve into humans stems from the faulty idea that humankind is the pinnacle of evolution and that the theory of evolution must say that all life, over time, must turn into humans.
Most primates are just fine in their habitats and have no need to, through natural selection, become like us.
"How come ALL the primates haven't evolved into humans??"
ALL plains primates did. You're talking about primates in jungle environments, and those have adapted, just not in the same directions. Their form is infinitely better suited to the African jungle than ours is, and we're better adapted for life in more open spaces.
Generally, when I see this much that's this wrong (or this OLD and wrong) in this short a span of words, I am tempted to think it's a troll.
In any case, I really hope so.

You've been lied to.
And humans and apes shared a common ancestor. Though I can always ask you this: If humans came from dirt, why is there still dirt?
Or could you put a piece of tin foil on the ground and watch it evolve into Ferrari???
Wait for 20 million years and it can become anything you want it to. Wanna bet?
How come ALL the primates haven't evolved into humans?? They haven't. Take yourself as an example. Just because you can use the internet doesn't mean you are human.
Patches: I think someone here falls asleep to Kent Hovind videos every night.
While jacking off.
Darwin did NOT state that the human eye was too complex to have evolved (You are correct in stating that he did not think that it could have just formed one day, but that is because he is not a fucking idiot.) Darwin actually explained the mechanism by which he postulated that the modern human eye could have actually come about, starting from the earliest photosensitive cell on up.
If you're gonna believe quote-mined quotes, -Tank-, make sure you read the entire thing so you get what was said BEFORE and AFTER whatever a fundie snipped out to use for their own agenda. Darwin goes on to explain how the eye could have come about. The whole point of the famous eye quote you made reference to is that just because we can't completely explain something doesn't mean some divine agency is responsible...merely that we need to learn MORE.
One, the Big Bang was proposed half a century later by a former priest and then by an astronomer. Second NOWHERE HE SAID THAT THE PROCESS HAPPENED IN ONE DAY. And third, COKE IS NOT AN ORGANIC LIVING BEING. Do you need a biology class?
Or could you put a piece of tin foil on the ground and watch it evolve into Ferrari??? When last I checked, pieces of tinfoil didn't reproduce like living organisms.
If evolution were true, why are there still apes?? How come ALL the primates haven't evolved into humans?? If the language of the English colonists in what is today Brooklyn evolved into Brooklynese, why are there still other dialects of English? Why doesn't the entire English-speaking world sound like Vinny Barbarino?
Doctor Whom, that's probably the best analogy on the topic I have yet seen.
To echo David D. G., FishyFred, and anevilmeme, the only time I see this many disproved fundie arguments in one paragraph is when the poster is a troll.
But Adrian could be right and it could be someone exceptionally stupid.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! The utter ignorance!
Darwin never said anything about the big bang, evolution is not about objects magically transforming themselves, and many primates are adapted well enough to their environments that they don't need to start developing humanlike characteristics.
As for the eye, Darwin was saying that it was difficult to imagine it evolving, but then went on to describe how it could have evolved right after making that quote often cited by Intelligent Design proponents.
"Even Darwin, the person who suggested the Big Bang and evolution said that it could not have happened."
Time to break out the rolled-up newspaper again...
"No! Bad tank! Bad!"
1) Darwin had nothing to do with the formation of the Big Bang theory and that doesn't say what you think either.
2) That's an extremely out-of-context bit of Darwin because, in the very next sentence, he goes on to say that the evidence nevertheless convinces him that it happened.
3) Even if Darwin was proven to have said so, it wouldn't affect evolutionary theory in the slightest because the theory doesn't rest on one man.
4) Coke cans and pieces of tin do not reproduce, the vital element of evolution.
5) Oh, come on! You're just taking the piss now. Even AnswersInGenesis has debunked that one.
The Big Bang theory was first formulated by a Roman Catholic priest, NOT Darwin.
Second, Darwin never said the evolution of the eye was impossible. If you had read the rest of the page instead of quote mining him, you would have found that out.
Third, life doesn't appear out of thin air. Straw man.
Fourth, tinfoil cannot turn into a Ferrari. It goes against the laws of physics and chemistry. Evolution does not.
> Evolution is bogus. If evolution were true, why are there still apes?? How come ALL the primates haven't evolved into humans?
If Adam was made in God's image, why would there still be God? How come ALL of God didn't become human?
Please, PLEASE, do research before expressing your opinion.
