[About "The God Who Wasn't There"]

I've not seen this movie nor will I see it. I'm not going to contribute my money to this movie, the director, or the producers. As far as I'm concerned when they are burning in Hell for eternity they will be wishing they never even made this movie. That is assuming they can think about anything other then the unimaginable amount of pain they will be feeling for again all eternity. Normally I wouldn't wish Hell on anyone but the most evil of people. But I wish Hell on Brian Flemming because even though he thinks he just sharing his views with the world he is getting people young and old to think their is no God which in effect is sending them to Hell. You can get on here and try to explain to me that there isn't a God try to give me all this proof and stuff but you'll just be wasting your time. I'm the most hard headed person when it comes to my religion. You can try and tell me to listen to what you call reason but I don't care about your pathetic atheist mindset. If you want to belive you evolved from apes be my guest but I believe we are better then that. If you want to believe something as stupid as all this life, this universe was created from the big bang your more stupid then any ape you believe you evolved from. I think Brian Flemming's and that *beep* who's trying to get kids to get on the internet and deny Jesus should be assasinated. What are two damned souls compared to hundreds of thousands or millions of souls that can be saved?

That's a great deity you've got there: He'll send people to eternal torture for making an unflattering movie about him. You can get on here and try to explain to me that there isn't a God try to give me all this proof and stuff but you'll just be wasting your time. I don't doubt that for a second. And BTW: Refusing to believe in the supernatural, being intellectually honest, and havng the courage to live in a vast, impassive universe that does not exist to serve you or flatter you is not being "pathetic." An adult relying on an imaginary super-father figure for comfort, and needing to believe that the entire cosmos was made just for them is pathetic. If you want to belive you evolved from apes be my guest but I believe we are better then that. First off we didn't evolve from apes. Secondly, have you watched apes? Considering what humans do to each other, the apes have nothing to be ashamed of. If you want to believe something as stupid as all this life, this universe was created from the big bang your more stupid then any ape you believe you evolved from. You believe that a bunch of ancient scribes knew more about the origins of life and the universe than what present day, physical evidence tells us. Not only is that stupid, but you accuse your own God, who you believe designed the universe, of being deceitful. Blasphemer! I think Brian Flemming's and that *beep* who's trying to get kids to get on the internet and deny Jesus should be assasinated. So your big sky-daddy isn't just cruel and homicidal, he's lazy and incompetent? You have to be his hit man? What are two damned souls compared to hundreds of thousands or millions of souls that can be saved? Who says religion is dangerous? Sounds perfectly harmless to me.

How weak and fragile your god is, that he can be killed by a movie. Perhaps we should petition to have him placed on the endangered species list? I mean, he is the only one of his kind, isn't he? We can get Darryl Hannah to do a tv spot calling for god conservation, set up a nature preserve somewhere in Texas, and just let him live out the rest of his days in comfort. Then we can all go down to Texas, and see god, and feed him peanuts, and the children can ride god for ten bucks. Naturally we'll have to be careful, as god is notoriously aggressive, and is known to kill and maim at a moment's notice with no provocation whatsoever. But we still owe it to future generations to not let this small, primitive, and delicate creature pass into obscurity. Everyone should see god at least once, if only so they know why they don't need him.

If this Brian Flemming's story is so compelling it will get "people young and old to think their[sic] is no God", then he must be a really, really powerful story-teller.

Most atheists say that "there is no evidence for the existence of any gods". Few states positively that there are no gods.

We didn't evolve from apes, we are apes, and we share a common ancestor with the other apes and monkeys, and all other life on the planet. At least we're not believing something as stupid as all this life, this universe was created from a big man in the sky poof-ing it into existence. I mean, what created that big man in the sky? And, what created the thing that created that?

Many non-religious people believe that Jesus might have existed, as a prophet or a spiritual leader, similar to Muhammad.

You do know that there are about 7 billion people on this Earth, and that only about 2,2 billion of those are Christians, right? That means there are about 4,8 billion "souls" that can be saved, according to your worldview, not just hundreds of thousands or millions.
