Try this.
Stack four eggs one on top of the other. Glue them together and make a tower out of them. Ensure the structure is stable and will not topple.
Now break the top egg. Hit it with your spoon and similate an aircraft hitting it.
Will the three eggs below the top egg break all the way to the floor?
No because the mass of the top egg will be difused and free to deflect around the shells of the lower eggs.
Exactly like the towers.

I'm actually fine with people claiming that the United States government, or individuals and organizations in it, were complicit with the destruction of the twin towers. As conspiracy theories go, that's not nearly as crazy as a lot of other things. Heck, simple game theory tells us that rational people whose interests are aligned help each other whether or not they can directly communicate.
A complex situation where one person or group benefits from the actions of another looks the same to an outside observer whether it is a conspiracy or a coincidence. Sure, I understand that. Some people are comforted by the idea that bad things happen for no reason. Others are comforted by the idea that there is reason and intelligence behind events.
But piles of eggs aren't office buildings. Those actually do look different to an outside observer.
every floor was designed to sustain the weight of the building above it, NOT in motion. imagine something that you can hold at chest level fairly easy, say 25 kilograms. Now imagine trying to stay standing when those 25 kilos are dropped on you from 4 meters above you, you will topple down. The same is true of the towers, the however many floors dropping on the one holding them up multiplies the weight on impact, shattering the supports and moving down to the next floor, until you have a 60 meter tall pile of rubble.
I am not a architect/engineer but I am pretty sure the WTC was'nt made of egg shell. I mean if it were Bin Laden would have just sent a bunch of guys over with some hammers. Hell with some forks to bring the damn thing down.
And to be fair, the egg's structural integrity is due to the dome shape of the egg rather than the material used. And one may well point out that the WTC was'nt a dome but a fairly tall building which is a cuboidal.
Will the three eggs below the top egg break all the way to the floor?
No, but the force of the spoon will knock them down (assuming that you got 4 eggs to balance in the first place). Fail.
This is true, I tried it myself. Where you may be messing up (for those of you trying it out yourself) is similating (sic) an aircraft. I glued paper wings onto my spoon and made a vrooom noise, and now the whole idea works!
Good, now try slamming into the side of it with something the size of one of the eggs.
No your right, it was the American Government, because the USA is all powerful and we know damn well a couple of Muslims couldn't of brought the US to it's knees.
What kind of crack are you smoking????
on a side note ... in one of my sculpture classes (some ppl did this in science) we had to make a case/cage out of toothpicks to protect an egg from a very high drop( top of 2 story building) the reason I mention this is maybe if the twin towers had been encased in toothpicks 9/11 would not have happened.
btw my egg broke =]
Confused?
