So here we may be seeing the real reason Dr. Hovind is jailed. So the judge, jury and prosecution unwittingly are instruments of God to answer the heart felt prayer of mother longing to see her jailed son find his way home. Praise God!

So God made Hovind a lying, duplicitous, fraudulent con-artist so that other lying, duplicitous, fraudulent con-artists can claim he's converting evil-doers.

How many of these religious leaders are going to have to be busted for one thing or another before fundies realize they are nothing more than con-artists? Jimmy Swaggart, Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker, Kent Hovind, Ted Haggard. These are just a few of the famous "Ministers of God" that have been busted. This does not even begin to list the number of lesser known priests and other church leaders that have been involved with less than honorable activities. Yet every one of them have been defended by their followers. This is in itself a sad commentary on the gullibility of a large section of the populace.
Given prison has a disproportionately HIGH percentage of Christians, far outstripping the general population, this argument holds no merit whatsoever.
