in my eyes, the swastika stands for , as they say in the song, freedom honour and pride for the aryan race. don't really know why they call it the symbol of hate, probably because of the holocaust.

It is actually an aryan symbol. But ocnsider that the Germans did not consider actual "aryans to be aryan" (The Irish, The Iranians and Indians)they probably did not know its meaning. Its actually a shape that arises from basket weaving.
It is a concept of balance. Since it is a radiant figure that can only be mirrored and show symmetry with its mirror image. So hindus often have two of them. Its a good luck charm. So during Diwali literally a billion people paint them on their doors. It is "not a symbol of hate".
The connotations of it vary from group to group. Its good luck/peace to hindus, taoists, buddhists and shintoists. And amusingly it was the first good luck symbol for aviators. Hell I once dated a girl with that name. Amusingly enough when the Red Cross worked in China they wore swastikas as the "Red Swastika Society"
Amusingly enough look up the Finnish flag designs and a fair few swastikas turn up.
And also the voting stamp in India has swastikas on it.
It however has nothing to do with "honour, freedom and pride". It means good luck. If you are going to argue for the symbol atleast read up on what it means.

Gee, ya think?
BTW, I've seen North American native baskets that were over 150 years old with Swastikas on them. I would be interested to know just how far back that symbol really goes.

Heil Sturmhauptführer Obvious!

Gee, you *think*? Give oldwastedfuck a gold star!
Yeah, it's an Aryan symbol all right. Just not the Aryans that you're thinking of (and it was a good-luck symbol in many other cultures).
Now, it's associated with one of the most brutal regimes of all time.
It's funny how people don't realise how old the Swastika really is.
Hitler did not design it, nor did the Nazi movement. However, a black Swastika is significantly different from a red one.
I'm pretty sure Wikipedia has an article on the Swastika.
Confused?
