Any Christian that is embarrassed by Gods deeds in either the NT or the OT is not a real Christian.

It's easier to ignore God's crimes against humanity, as portrayed in bible stories. If you're an even "more real" Christian, you can rationalise and justify God's acts such as genocide, or being a bloodthirsty bastard. Then again, you could be a logical thinker and realise that this God just doesn't exist.

This is the first time I agree fully with a fundie!
A **Real Christian** must believe in everything the Bible says and stop hiding behind excuses like: "Dont take it literally - it is on a spiritual level" or "You don´t read the Bible the right way" (whatever that means!?).
Christians - be proud of your Truthful, Good and Historically Correct Bible! It will make it easier for us sceptics to have a fun time :)
We all know that a True Christian can rationalize any of BibleGod's atrocities, no matter how repulsive, by saying that the people he killed deserved death because they were sinful. I guess that includes all the babies and children who died in the Noachian flood, too.
My father says the OT is the worst ethical piece of writing ever written. Still, he is a pretty decent Christian. Hint: Jesus was, at least to you, Christ. The OT doesn't mention Christ. I think you can figure the rest out yourself.
The basic Christian message is good, but I smelled the poisons in the bible at a very young age. Thereafter, I eschewed it, regarding it as a malformed mutated corpse of a fever dream...
According to some of my favorite Christian-era scripture, the god of the book is the twisted bastard spawn of a higher psychic aeon, and as usually happens to mistakes, he was swept under the carpet.
Unfortunately, the physical universe occupies the territory under the carpet.
Any Christian who is not embarrassed by even one of God's deeds in either the NT or the OT is a heartless, soulless, brainless, ass.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
