As an italian I can say the catholic church has reached it historical low as far as moral authority is concerned

Alot of catholics today. I don't see how they can blame any downfall of western society on atheists, when it was the atheists, and agnostics, and deists, who brought the west out of the dark ages that the catholic church put us in.
