The book The Female Man and Valerie Solanas’s writings both capture this sense of a basic, dignified female reaction to patriarchal reality. Look at how a woman from a matriarchal universe reacts to being suddenly transported to our world. Look at how the nonsense all slides off her. If you were used to your dignity, morality and power and you encountered for the first time a male addicted to watching child torture, you’d kill him. And sleep just fine at night.

The key is understanding that none of this is you. You are a sociable, warm, funny, charming, lovely person. And males crawl on your world like human bacteria, full of horrifying mutated thoughts and feelings. It’s sad, but they did this to themselves. They absolutely deserve to be treated like living feces by every woman they meet if that’s how they choose to act. Once you’re used to that reality it’s pretty easy to have fun joking with your moid coworker knowing he watches porn and would stab you in the back in a second, neg him for being bald and pass it off as a joke knowing that it kills him, get a good inner chuckle out of it and turn your attention back to the women in your life. They’re just nothing, don’t twist yourself into knots too much over it.
