The judge is the one who needs to be re-educated. Again, obviously turning into a gaystapo totalitarian dictatorship. Those like me refuse to be "re-educated."
Christians, be ready to suffer persecution for our faith in Jesus. It is also interesting that as usual "a simple denial" would have gotten her free, the same offer all the other enemies of Christ tempt the persecuted Christians with, oh sure, just deny your faith, and your... free! Only not as a Christian thereafter...

To my knowledge, she was given three options. Jail, resign or do the job she was elected to do.
If she is not willing to put her personal beliefs aside to do the job she was hired to do, she should find another job that doesn't conflict with her beliefs and let someone else do it instead.
But no, she picked option 1: Go to Jail. Go directly to jail. Do not pass 'Go'. Do not collect $200.
And now she's over playing the 'martyr victim' card, as if she had no choice at all.
She was given another option! Do nothing, just let the other clerks license the icky gays. She refused. Her religion requires her to impose, impose, impose her bigotry on the whole county.
"Again, obviously turning into a gaystapo totalitarian dictatorship."
Like Hitlers gaystapo? The one that put gays in death camps? Is that the gaystapo you're talking about?
The judge is a conservative Christian, one who is actually agianst same sex marriage and is just upholding the law which is his job?
@ Oxymoron's Razor
Not to mention she was told that she did not have to issue a single license, she simply couldn't stop the deputy clerks from issuing licenses if they wanted to. She would not do that.
According to some reports I read, the judge who sent Ms. Davies to jail is himself a conservative Christian who didn’t agree with the SCOTUS ruling about SSM. But he apparently understands that his faith and opinions should have no influence on him applying the law.
Ms. Davies could learn something from his example.
1- No U.
2- Careful: that knock on the door at night: It could be the Fashion Police! >:D
3- "Jesus Camp". Becky Fischer. Karma's a bitch, isn't it?!
4- Well, Kimmy's now in that river in Egypt: in a prison cell. [/That last scene in "Red State"]
5- Jonathan Edwards. So what's Kimmy's - and your - excuse, FAIL Cuntender?
6- ?????
7- There is no Thereafter. As there is no 'God'. Like I say: Just ask Jonathan Edwards.
"Be ready to suffer persecution. It's coming any day now."
Wait a minute, aren't you the people that have been telling me that Jesus will return, like, every day for the last thousand years? OK, I guess you can unbar the door and take the tinfoil off the windows now.
If the county clerk was a Quaker that refused to issue gun licenses Faith Contender would be screaming for his head, even though that Quaker would be doing the same exact thing Kim Davies is doing.
Rot in jail, you dumb twat.
Update:
She's released but on the condition she doesn't interfere with county clerks under her that agree to issues the licences/ obey the law.
She and her lawyers have said she'll interfere still. I guess after three failed marriages, out of wedlock AND adulterous children (unbiblical) Martyr looks good?
Hey Religion, no one said it had to make sense
Hey, American religion, they obstinately make a point of not making sense!
Confused?
