We believe in "govt. handouts" because some people can't find good-paying jobs and/or are elderly and/or disabled & WE DON'T WANT THEM TO DIE FROM POVERTY! Plenty of "whiteys" are on Public Assistance as well, stupid! Are they moochers, too? Many in the black community are in a tough spot & suffering from a sociological malaise caused by the remnants of slavery, Jim Crow, etc. It gets passed down a lot, plus there are economic factors & non-official ethnicism from politicians & police. It's very complex & blacks, like IndigAmericans (who flourished in this, their land, for millenia beforehand) are basically the butt-monkey of U.S. history...and it's the fault of your ilk!
Finally, most blacks are actually middle-class, law-abiding, regular Janes & Joes with steady jobs, homes & nice families. Many are also quite wealthy. One is a Constitutional Scholar, Columbia University & Harvard Law School alumni, super-smart with a loving family & President of the United States.
There are welfare moochers but they don't make up the majority, are relatively few & occur in all ethnicities.
