Unfortunately, the choral arts are infested with hedonists and homoerotics. They never seem to be bothered by the glaring contrast between their personal philosophies versus the sacred music they love and sing, the music that formed the basic foundation for all Western music (including rock and jazz).

I know of a young chorister, highly regarded, highly talented. He was addicted to Glee. In his first year as a credentialed teacher of vocal music, he was caught red-handed committing a crime involving the female minors in his girls’ choir.

His bright future is over. He is registered with the state, I believe, and he will never teach again, I suspect. Even before that, I privately considered him a victim of academic depravity: contributing to the delinquency of a minor (for I think he joined his first college chorus as a 17-year-old prodigy, a highly-ranked - and highly rank - environment).

Significantly, his fellow hedonists turned on him for tainting them by association. I, the conservative, celibate Christian had more compassion for him than any of his soulmates. This is the result of the Long March through the institutions by the Frankfurt School: subvert and corrupt everything.
