A few years ago I discovered some shocking information about bible translations. I found out that modern translations are based on a Greek text produced by Luciferians, namely Brook Foss Westcott and Fenton John Anthony Hort. We Christians who know about the New World Order know that Satan's goal is to keep people from believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. Satan's plan is to deceive Christians into accepting New Age philosophy through slowly poisoning bibles through modern translations based on minority text types. Show me a bible commonly available that isn't a translation from a Greek text!. The King James bible certainly is.
Look up the Textus Receptus (name = received text in Latin)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_James_Bible ).
Now I know I am using lazy references, such as wikipedia, but a more detailed search will confirm it.
However, beware not every site mentions the KJV's history (http://www.conservapedia.com/King_James_Bible ), some only mention that is was "a poetic masterpiece" and not much else.
New age philosophy has nothing what so ever to do with the Christian God, stop interpreting other peoples beliefs as attacks on your own mythology.

So, Satanists altered translations of the Bible? Yeah...not only do I doubt that that happened, I also doubt that your announcement of that fact would faze anyone in the slightest. Disturbing, I know, but it is how belief works.

So you're absolutely sure that God personally supervised the authorship, transmission, manuscript copying, translation and publication of every single Bible from 33 A.D. to 1611 or so (as demonstrated by the fervent fundie insistence that the text is totally inerrant), but then he suddenly took a long lunch and has let every evil person or entity out there to fuck around with his words ever since?
Since bible translations are suspect, which one should you be using then? We can go back to the original if you can tell me which that is.

And I wish I were making this up, but:
King James Onlyists believe that not only is every translation since the KJV erroneous, but so is ever translation made before the KJV -- and, for that matter, so are the original Hebrew and Greek manuscripts which were translated into the KJV!
Their belief is that God manipulated the KJV translators in such a way that all of their "mis-translations" were actually geared to produce the true Word of God. And that God has never done this before or since.
Again, I wish I were making this up. But that's what the King James Onlyists actually believe!
@tracer: Yeah, I've heard of that. I just know others with the opinion I quoted, like my crackpot Uncle Emmett. The vast majority of such, however, know so damn little about their own holy book that they don't know there were any versions before KJV. I can't get any sense out of 'em.

I've discovered some shocking information about bible translations, too: No matter what language you use, no matter what the origin or age of the source material, it's still full of shit.
Well then, just read the Tanakh in Hebrew and the New Testament in Greek, if you're so wary of translations.
Somehow, though, I have a feeling you know nothing of other languages.
